This is a legitimate company they dont advertise because its how they do or prefer to do business, lots of people work for this company making good solid income, why does everyone have to be so negative.. did you even go for the interview to find out more? It is not a scam, they work with several huge organizations throughout the US and are expanding which is why calls come from different areas. I have a sister who just went for the interview and is hoping to get hired. It pays to find out all the info before you make an assumption of something your entirely uncertain of.You just might be surprised!!
This company is not a scam. I worked there for about 18 months before moving on, but will tell you the company does have money and if you work really hard and smart you will be rewarded. They are a torchmark company. Check out torchmarks stock. It is rated very high. Paul Rumbuc is probably one of the best leaders I have ever been around. American Income will teach you how to close people in their homes. If you are successfull there which I was you will succeed in sales. There commissions are Great! You can easily make $60,000 your first year if you listen to people like Paul and follow their model. The bad part is the product is kind of out of date and after awhile it just feels like one giant rat race unless you go into management. I moved on and now sale health insurance which I have a great product that I feel really good about and don't have to sale people anymore. I really just advise them. AIL is kind of a rat race but you can make money and learn a lot but you might get burnt out very fast compared to selling insurance somewhere else especially health insurance. I feel more like a consultant then a salesman. That just works for me now.
Nice try. Funny how all of those who trash people who've been stiffed by the Great Depression II are so fond of calling their complaints "whining."Well, 'ail member,' we all know about Karma: Yours will be ailing in no time. You're not immune to the collapse of our economy: century-old banks are folding. You'll learn humility the hard way: From whining about your plight. But you, ailing one, will truly be whining.
I just receive this e-mail as well, from "Glady Holder", no information about anything, just a phone number with an area code about 50 miles from me!By the way...thanks for the comment about McDonalds workers! I'm an currently employeed at a local McDonalds, purely to pay for gas until I am graduated from school, and I am damn proud of it!
It appears this company is starting to snag p[eople int he Flint area now. Phone number on the e-mail was 810-223-0890 and e-mail was from Danielle Moore. Sure glad I checked out the number before calling!!
Thanks for posting this, it seems like I've been finding a lot of postings like this when checking out "companies" that contact me after posting my resume. I was contacted by Brenda Hayes with a (260) area code phone number, I will not be calling to schedule an interview. As with these other testimonials there was no information about the company or even the company name or what position was available in the email request that I received, just a phone number to call. so I googled the email domain name "ailmich.com" and came up with hits like this. I don't understand how people get paid to waste other peoples time. We're looking for better jobs, and they just mess with our heads.
I received a call from a Denise Ward at AIL to set up an interview with her company in Taylor. She told me she got my resume off of Career Builders and her company deals with insurance. I told her I would not be interesed in telemarketing or sales she informed that it is not a telemarketing company and that there is no direct sales. I went on Career Builders and did a company search and guess what AIL was not listed nor was their affiliate Rumbuc which is odd becuase she said her company found my resume on Career Builders. I could not find no info on AIL but did find Rumbuc and they do direct sales for insurance and work on commission, but I was told there is no calling to sell and it is not telemarketing. I didnt get the warm fuzzies so I did not call her back to set up the interview but I am glad that I did the research. Becuase if they were a legite company they would be listed on Career Builders or any other job site.
just got call form this company from a christy told to come to an interview at 10:30 wed. thanks to everyone for the info.. will not be going. I went to an interview to there troy office a few months back and they wanted someone for cold calls to sell insurance to other companies. After the interview they never called me back, which was a good thing, after reading all of the messages. They are listed on Monster as a human resoures company in auburn hills. and a confidental company. do not apply
Wow, I too received a call this am from a Denise with AIL stating that she had received my resume from Career Builders. Her phone number is 734-281-4177 and she was calling from the Taylor office. Like most of you, I could not remember applying for a position with this company, nor did I know what AIL stood for and could not google it. Taylor is only a couple miles from my home, so I drove down this am hoping to find out what AIL stood for, so that I could find out something about this company. On the buildings information signage, it read AIL The Rumbuc Agency. I was able to google this and came to this site...Thankful but really disappointed. Why do you suppose they would tell us its a professional interview and to dress appropriately. She also told me to bring an ink pen....dah!! I am so glad all of you took the time to enlighten the rest of us..prospective employees!!
