i've the call from mrs. ward, no response after i've called back andan e-mail from glenn williams, (exe vp torchmark corp) about my interview that hasn't been scheduled....glad i googled!!
RYAN WILLIAMS CALLED AND STATED HE RECEIVED MY RESUME OFF OF CAREERBUILDER AND WOULD LIKE ME TO GIVE HIM A CALL BACK. THIS PHONE CALL WAS FROM THE APPARENT LANSING OFFICE
Got a call from (248) 283-5326 from Mrs. Holder wanting to schedule an interview. When I called back the number her voicemail introduced the Rumbuc Agency and said to leave a number and a zipcode. Zipcode? This is a bull call. Someone looking at online job database looking for people to scam.
Mrs. Holder also called me yesterday and we set up an interview for Wednesday. After seeing this I will not be attending this apt. It sounded a little fishy to me because at one point she had said this was a receptionist position, another time she called it a management trainee position, and another time in the conversation she referred to it as a sales position. She also did mention getting my resume off carrer builder, and said the company delt with benefits for union workers. The phone and address information she gave me is:901 Tower Drive suite 100Troy, Michigan 48098248-283-5388
I got a call from this Ms. Holder early in the am on 4/21/08. Her voicemailmessage wanted me to return the call and give her a time that she could reach me. I did this several times today, and she never returned the call. I too could not remember applying for a job with this company so I wanted to talk with her in more detail about the job. Since I have read all of these other messages about this FAKE company, I will be returning the call to Mrs. Holder as so as possible requesting that she remove my name from her list because I am not interested in a position with the Rumbuc Agency (or what ever the company is). This is very annoying when you are really attempting to find employment.
Revieved 2 calls from Mrs. Holden. Re: Manager position for marketing firm that works with unions. After asking her some pointed questions that were not answered I started asking how she would see my fit in the company and what my responsibilities would be. She started to fumble once she was driven away from her boilerplate and rehearsed statements. Not sure if its a scam or not but I would not go to this interview as it would be a gigantic waste of time. I associate these people with: Ameriprise,Amway,Quickstar, and any other company where you are never going to have the oppertunity to be succesfull.
I got an e-mail this morning from Mrs. Holder at Rumbuc Agency who looked at my resume, blah blah blah. After reading this I don't think I'll even bother to call back. The number I got a call from was 248-283-5379.I was immediately suspicious when she identified herself in the voicemail as "Mrs. Holder." Lady, you are not my 2nd grade teacher and I will not call you Mrs.
I received a call from Mrs. Holder at the Rumbuc Agency last week regarding a management position as well. I set up an interview for Tuesday of this week. She told me that they sell supplemental insurance to unions, etc. and want to train people for 18 months so they can run their own business. Before I hung up with her the first time, she said "This *IS* a professional interview, please dress accordingly." I thought to myself "Yeah...no kidding. Why wouldn't I dress 'accordingly'?"She called Monday (today) to confirm my appointment for Tuesday and when I told her that some things had come up with my job and I wouldn't be able to make it, she got snotty with me and said "And were you going to call ME?" I said I was but I hadn't gotten around to it yet as I had been busy with work. She hung up on me! Way to be unprofessional there!I had a bad feeling about this place, so I'm glad I wasn't going to go anyway. It sounds like a "don't waste your time" kind of place to me.
