Jermaine I could not agree more. I work for the company in NY and it is a golden opportunity for all. All these people are complaining about getting a call with a job offer. People have no idea the opportunity they are passing up. Anyone who passes up an interview, ANY interview, isn't smart enough to realize that opportunity knocks, but you have to answer. What harm is there to listen??Jeff A
YOU ARE AN IDIOT. MAYBE YOU SHOULD BE THANKFUL THAT SOMEONE EVEN CALLED YOU FOR AN INTERVIEW. I CAN'T IMAGINE YOU DID A MUCH BETTER JOB SPELLING ON YOUR RESUME!!!
Thank everyone I got the same message and I did not respond. I did not apply to a job with them but they said I did.
thanks, to everyone who posted on the site. I am looking in MI, but right now live in PA, so it would have been a huge waste of time for me!! Anyway, these people are scum. People out of work get hopeful when they get a phone call... then let down to find it is a scam!! Shame on them!!
Same thing - Mrs. Holder called me and said she wanted to schedule an interview. She also tried to give me an incorrect spelling of the company, probably thinking that I wouldn't be able to find them online if it wasn't spelled right (Note to Mrs. Holder - Google CORRECTS the name if it has been searched before!). I have to vent for a moment. I am a serious job seeker as most applicants on Career Builder or Monster, etc... are, too. I have been inundated with calls from b***sh** reps, pyramid schemers, get-rich-quick idiots, etc... AND every recruiter from every "agency" in town. Don't they realize that most intelligent people know a scam when they hear it? MI is in a tough economic spot right now. No one wants to be taunted with the false promise of a potential employer. So do us a favor - GET OFF OUR EMAILS, PHONES, ETC... And get YOURSELVES a REAL J-O-B! Stop trying to scam people!
Was just getting ready to leave for an interview. After reading these messages I am not going. Thank You All!
I was actually in the middle of a phone interview with a legit, Fortune 500 firm, when this "Mrs. Holder" from the HR Department at "The (unintelligable) Agency" called. Being the professional experienced individual I am, I ignored it and continued with the legit interview I was in. I checked my VME later, and the number this "Mrs. Holder" left didn't even match the caller ID. It was 248-404-8703. I didn't find a thing about them on a search of the internet except this site...In this day and age, someone who cold calls you for a "job opportunity" should have the professionalism to tell you what they do and are. As one of my colleagues at another Fortune 500 once told me, there are a lot of frogs begging to get kissed while one is looking for employment change.
