I think you all need to calm down. I just got a call from the number, too. Ignored it, plain and simple.Seriously, folks - we have more important things to worry about than bitching about whose country or language is better or superior. The whole point of this thread was to source the origin of the stupid MI number. Lord have mercy, quit arguing, get off the computer, and just mind your own damn business!

They just called my iphone at 1:37pm. I called back the number on my work phone and got the operator message that the number has been disconnected or is no longer in service. I wonder how they are getting our numbers.
Got a call from this number (248-975-2662), message in Spanish...doesn't make sense to me.
Received a call from this number @4:36 pm PST. I don't answer calls from random numbers like this because I've had them before from Tennessee, Georgia, etc. and they turned out to be in Spanish. No message was left, but it's annoying nonetheless.

Received a call from 248-975--2662 on my cell, didn't recognize the number so didn't answer. Glad I didn't, but this is totally ridiculous!!!!!
Get two calls in same amount of days from this number every month and a half. Caller ID says it is from Pontiac Michigan. When I pick up and say hello, it says something in Spanish and hangs up. When I tried calling it, got a message saying the number had been disconnected.

Someone using this number called, when I answered there seemed to be there cut I said "hello" twice and no one said a thing. I hung up. If it was a collector they would not only answer but keep you on the line for as long as it took.

Yes. The caller claimed to represent Document Delivery Services and threatened to serve me with papers from a fifteen year old debt. A check with my local County Clerk’s Office revealed no evidence of lawsuit filed.
