Got a call from this number 8:20 p.m. 7/20. Another phony windows issue, person on other end had an Indian accent.

We just got a call from these clowns at 8:35 PM (Eastern) time. My wife said "hello" several times, could hear people talking but not to her so she hung up. We have some relatives in Washington so we Googled the phone number and found this discussion thread. A lot of you folks seem to be neighbors up north and we thank you for the open and frank discussions. We are in Pennsylvania so the fraudsters are crossing borders.

Same thing. Called about 9pm, you have a virus, blah blah.So, I, affecting my best "concerned" voice, told him he'd need to give me some identifying information so I could figure out which computer was doing it. He seemed a bit confused by this, so I said, "I have over 200 machines in my network, which one is sending out this information? Give me the IP address or something."silence for about 10 seconds..him: "Uh, you need IP address?"me: "Yes."*click*and he hung up.

Just got a call. Caller ID read 8888100399. I answered with the phone on mute. Could tell someone was there, but they said nothing.

i had the same thing happen to me after i told him to stop calling my home then he called back with () this as a caller ID we listened to what he was going to do to me and he even said my city and state where i lived iam so glad that i have him on my answering Machine

Wow... Just totally got scammed by these guys... Lucky for me I have my iPod to research things!! We fell for it for about a half hour but being not so computer smart we didn't do anything too bad... We hope! The codes h gave us wouldn't work so thank god I researched when I did! Hopefully it didn't go through... Let's hope
