Got the same call this morning claimimng to be helping me from Microsoft, not very likely! So I went off on the guy, very vulgar, rude and inappropriate language came from me to him. He never had a chance to talk back to me at all and hung up. LOL.........

He briefly had control of my computer, once I realized he was a fraud (pretty quickly) I shut off and hung up.

me too... this Indian guy called me with all of the about everyone related. asked him how he got my ph# cause it is unlisted, of course, he couldn't answer that question. I finally said to him if I'm infected, and you are phoning me, then send me an email and I would have my tech-relative look into it and hung up.

Got a call from this idiot 5 minutes ago. I just hung up on him but got curious and googled the number. Now I'm hoping he calls again so I can have some fun with him!

While I was at the store, my 13 year old daughter was on the computer and the house phone rang..it was a guy from Windows, Shawn Brown.... calling to tell us there is a problem with our computer, possibly a virus. He asked to speak to the owner of the computer in our house. My daughter said I am the owner of this computer. He asked to speak to an adult. He said he will be calling again later. I tried calling the number that came up on caller ID and it says this is not a working number. I then tried to call this number from my cell phone and it said number is unavailable at this time. He did have a India accent.I can't wait until this creep calls back. Thank you to all that have posted this info.

Received call from person with Indian accent saying he was from Microsoft. He said my computer was infected so I laughed called him a few choice nouns and he hung up.

Indian woman asking for my husband.....when I said he doesn't talk on the phone (he has MS....) she hung up.

Just received a call as many others have described. I kept mentioning to him I was concerned about it being a scam. I did go in on my computer and went through a couple of steps with him then my internet security sent me a warning. He said my computer would be crashing and I would be sorry I didn't go through with his instructions. I politely told him I was not going to download anything and was going to discontinue this call. He hung up before I had a chance to do so. I feel like Raging Grandmother except I'm not a Grandmother - just a Raging elderly person. Caller ID said Washington and the phone number.
