I HAVE NOT ANSWERED...IT CHANGED FROM A DIFFERENT # TRYING TO CALL ME WITH A 123 AREA CODE TO THIS...253 AREA CODE...

just got a call from this number....some Indian sounding fellow told me I had an infected computer that was "sending signals' and "could he come onto my computer?". when I said "absolutely not!" this clever fellow told me to "f@ck myself with my fingers". What a world...

When they call I just ask if they can hold on because someone is at the door and then I lay down the phone and go about my business......some don't wait but others have....for a long time. I also lay it down next to the tv.lmao!

Got a call today telling me I had a laptop and then when I said no they said yes you do and then they hung up on us.

Got a call from this number at 10:37 a.m. on June 16th. Caller ID identified it as OUT OF AREA and the number was listed as 2-253-820-3089. I did NOT answer the call. After checking on Google for this number I am warning EVERYBODY I know NOT to ANSWER this number and why---thanks to you folks who have let us know what is going on. What one responder said to them about NOT HAVING a computer was fabulous!

Just had the same call myself. I asked from where he was and which company. Took him a long time to answer. He mentioned I had a bad virius o my pc and he wanted to repair it. He was from PC REPAIRS company employed by Microsoft. Then I asked his certified licence number, as all Microsoft tech have a cerfified licence number assiged. He then hung up on me. So please make sure you ask them for their certified licence and then you will see how he reacts. This is a scam for sure!!!

German accent- inquire details of computer (no info given) - was my computer on-(no info given) I hung up.

Haven't had one for a while; got one todaywe just don't answer these anymore, but I used to play with them...last time, I told him I don't have a computer, and proceed to speed-talk at him about scams and police... he hung up on me...

JUST TELL THEM IF YOUR COMPUTER HAS A VIRUS THEN YOU'RE NOT GOING ANYWHERE NEAR IT AND HANG UP

I also got a call last night at dinner time from this number and like everyone else, could barely understand what the lady was saying, she did know my last name but when she began to speak more, I swear she was eating at the same time also and just mumbled something about my computers' microsoft is doing something strange, when I said who are you and what are you talking about, she hung up on me, I immediately found the tech support for MS and she shared with me it must be some kind of scam, we would never call you like that about a problem, we would email you to call us.. but was so strange, I guess I was not the only one, The Mircrosoft tech did say to google this number and see what happens.. I am glad I did..
