I just got a call from that number and he said my computer was sending out messages that it was infected with a virus that was deeply imbedded. I told him that it wasn't possible for my computer to send him messages to that effect because it did not have a life of it's own. He said he could help me shut this threat down and I told him that he was the threat and I was shutting him down. Then I hung up. He also sounded Indian and had the nerve to call back but I just didn't answer.

Yep-Same MO-Indian sounding "tech from Microsoft" says " Microsoft having much log-ins from your computer-computer has virus"I played with him a bit, and asked what I should do-He said I need to go to website and log in--they would fix it for me-I told him to go to he** and get a real job!Click!

Just got a call from this freak..it said out of area, and I usually never answer those..however, kid and husband on trip and of course thought the worst. He had an Indian accent, and asked for me by name but definitely didn't know how to pronounce it. I said "Depending on who you are she may or may not be here..so who are you?" He said "your computer is sending signals of a virus." I said, "Really, and you are?" pause pause..."mircosoft"..and I said "I don't believe you and if there is a problem I will contact my cable company and check on those signals"..then hung up and blocked the number. Interesting side note..I have been getting emails stating the same thing and asking me to click on a link..I always send to spam and delete. Wonder if you have a private number if these scammers will stop calling? I also gets calls about "lower my credit card interest rate"..when I don't even have a credit card! I've blocked them over 30 times, they still call with another number. I filed a complaint with the FCC. Got a stupid response from those worthless do nothings too.

I just noticed a few times this number was on my caller ID logs - including this morning, so i'm guessing they're just cycling through the area codes and happened to get to Ontario this week...

Just received a call and the guy with a british accent tells me that my computer is invaded by malware and I am in the midst bof using my computer so I tell him, No It's Not" he hangs up.

I got the same thing, someone with an Indian-sounding accent telling me that they were with windows operating system, and that my computer was sending out infected something. Clearly a bunch of bull. The number is a cell phone according to reverse phone number look up. Have been receiving lots of calls from this number. Usually, I just don't answer, but they called back to back this morning and when I answered, a male with an accent said "N.... I want to marry you." I told them I wasn't interested and to never call this number again. Of course that didn't do the trick. I answered the second call this morning and a male with an accent said "I want to send you money" and before he could go any further I told him I was a multimillionaire and I didn't need his da.. money and to never call this number again." Seems like something could be done about this!

Just got a call with the same message - sounded Indian. Something about a Windows error message and my computer being infected. I asked how my Apple Mac could be infected with a Windows virus and she hung up!
