"Unknown Name, 253-820-3089" Lots of background noise, like a call center. Guy with strong accent, possibly from India, kept repeating (after answering machiine message): "Hello. Can you hear me? Hello. Can you hear me? Hello. Can you hear me? Hello. Can you hear me?" He finally disconnected.
We have been getting calls off and on from this number for days. Sometimes one right afterthe other. Very annoying. Makes me want to cancel my landline and go with my cell only. Most of the time I take it for a few days because I'm busily doing things and not close to the phone, but the next time they call, I'll pick up and then hang up immediately. Hopefully that will discourage themlike it has other persistent telemarketers.
Received a call from this number with a country code "12"..which is the code for fiji. No message left either.
Drowser; The next time, if you notice the phone number before you pickup, Have something handy like a whistle, two books you can slam together, right near the phone mouth piece! Maybe you can bust an ear drum!! They wont call you again!!!
I got a call from these jokers a few weeks ago. Same story about Microsoft, so I tell them that I wanted my number deleted from their system. He went on to saying but it was important to remove this virus. I told him I read online that this was a scam. He said no scam. I'm still speaking very politely and say I'm really don't care, don't call me. Then I get, "But why?" over and over. So then i said you know why I know this is a scam because i don't have a computer! And then he hung up.Yesterday I get the same loser, or his identically sounding brother. Same thing about a virus. I said I've gotten this call before and I asked to be removed. He said he never called before. I said, "Look I'm not interested. I don't have a computer." And then he said "but why?" Then I said see, you are the same guy. I've already heard the "But Why?, But Why? But Why? (perfectly mocking him from the last call.) He hung up.I they actually call again I'll have some real fun with them.
Addition to my note from 15 Jun 2012: This person has been calling and harassing me every weekday from 10 to 12 pm at night and leaving abusive messages when we don't pick-up. I am so sick of this guy and his scamming company!
Just got a call from this guy. Only thing I could understand him saying (and only because I had to have him repeat what he was saying over and over...) was that he was from Microsoft and my computer was experiencing technical difficulities. Said to go turn on my computer so he could give me a website to go to for it to be fixed...At that point said NO THANK YOU and hung up...I think I would know if my pc wasn't working...Sad these guys spend all their time trying to rip people off instead of ya know..going to get a real job??
+12665963652 n +4011 this no. Called me several times at 1:30 am... I didn't pick up I ws scared...
Got a call from them last Friday (9/7). Indian "gentleman" asks "Can I speak to Miss Carol?" I said "speaking." He then said "My name is William. I am calling from Microsoft Security." I said "No you're not!" and hung up on his sorry a$$!
Got a call this morning from this number, but CallerID doesn't show the last digit. Anyway I grilled the Mexican sounding woman about who the company was. She finally coughed up Galaxy Support. I don't know if it's a name she made up on the spot, or if her "manager" told her that was the name to use, but maybe gives us something else to go on.
