I signed up for the cell phone do not call list but still receive these calls. This one came again today- 253-820-3089. Please arrest these idiots!

I received a call yesterday and all it said on my cell ID was 969. It was a male from India that i couldn't understand saying that I had malicious virus on my computer. I said that isn't possible because 1.) my cell isn't listed as a contact on any of my computer information and 2.) my computers were being repaired by a local company that I personally knew. I told him to go back to the drawing board and try a new scam because this one didn't work. I just got another call from 253-820-308. The last number didn't come through. I didn't answer because I was at work. I looked up the number and came up with this site. It matched so I thought that I would post this information here.

Just called, didn't answer, no message. Caller ID reads Washington

Caller with Indian accent said his name was James, from Microsoft Certified Technical Dept, warned me that my computer was sending out massive amounts of viruses. He wanted me to push a series of keys to give him remote access to clean the viruses from my computer, free of charge. I just wanted to warn everyone about some additional #'s he gave me to call him back in case we got disconnected. 800-860-3330 and 209-464-8541. Be smart and be safe, everyone!

Just got a phone call phone the same number and same guy. He said I needed to renew my warranty for my windows software because it was expired. I just played along with this just acting dumb as if I thought he was legit. He started to get upset with me because I "didn't" know how to do what he was asking, It got to a point where he had somebody else come on his line and start speaking a foreign language. He asked me if i knew what it meant, i said no, then he said let me check what it means, line goes silent for a second and says "it means your a son of a [***]" and hangs up... Classy.

Had a call from this number. The man kept saying hi how are you. Wouldn't tell me who he was and when I asked who he was looking for he paused and said something to someone else. So I asked again and he said he was calling for me. He sounded like he was Indian.

This creep keeps calling and says nothing.

These jerks called every 15 minutes for 3 hours. I just answered and they hung up on me.

I was curious so I answered ...since it was the 2 instead of the 1 at the beginning... so the guy says his name is john I think... and I could not get the company name. he said he was from wherever and was calling about my computer... so I said what about it? he said that there was error messages. I said yeah I think so? he said are you having trouble with your computer? I said if I had a problem with my computer I know who to call. well you going on again about the error message. I said well you scammed my mom but I'm too smart for that. but you made a mistake because now I have your phone number... anh hung up.

I just got a call from this number. In fact, it's the 5 th they call. The guy told me that he's from Microsoft, and said that my computer is infected. He had my name...I told him that i'm a computer engineer and he hung up.
