Got a call from some ashol saying my computer was infected and that I needed to get on line and go to a site I was playing him and then I got tired of his bulshit and told him I’m an i.t. person he said what that information teak and your try to tell me my infected you stupid [***] when you don’t even know what a i.t is and closed phone in his face

same here, i live in quebec, canada, got some phone calls from these [***] all the time since the last 2 weeks. Very annoying. I would like to get my hand on one of these jerks sometimes.

And more to it, i think this internet site is connected with this scam. What we do by googling this number.... this site appears. What do they have on this site.???? they promote stuff. I think this is all a marketing scam

yep just got the same call. What did you find out if anything?

I simply answer "Thank you for calling microsoft tech support, this is _____________ how may I assist you?" That throws them off. I hate how these people think that they have a right to rip off people just to make a quick buck.

another call again it's a scam and I had a hard time convincing my husband it's a scam. How do they get our numbers and what harassment they just keep calling and calling

Thanks for the RCMP link. This number called my house at 10:10 p.m. June 12 claiming I had problems with my computer. I am generally a polite and responsible senior citizen, but was half asleep when the phone rang, startled too, but called the East Indian telemarketer some very unpleasant names that even a truck driver would blush at hearing. I get so many of these calls and have tried everything to stop them but to no avail. Now I am getting very reactionary and channeling my inner raging grannie. I believe the calls originate from call centres in India and are decidedly scams to fraudulently elicit money. There seems to be no protection from these sociopathic (as in no conscience) telemarketers. Just received another call at 2:30 p.m. today, June 13, but it showed only Long Distance on call display...also East Indian, also about my computer showing problems. Claimed to be Microsoft calling. Raging Grannie took over again and to my horror I let go with a volley of vile expletives. I felt better after using foul language than I do when I have been polite to this circus freaks. another scam another number to watch out for 253-820-3089 from Wash. today didn't answer at all.....where do these dinks come from.......

I just got a call from them while I was on another call. I don't answer anymore. Is there a way of getting rid of them? Ignoring them seem to be the best strategy because somehow the more you answer their call or talk to them the more they call...

I got 2 calls from them today 1:23, 4:54, 5:58 I did not answer phone.
