They haven't let up since 2007. Got a call today. What use to reporting since 2007 nothing is done. What happened to the do not call list.

Can't be real. How would they be able to verify you by the last 4 of your SSN if they never had your SSN to begin with? Kohls doesn't have your SSN anyway.

This number is if a person has an outstanding debt with kohls or has missed a payment. If you get a call between 9am and 4pm it’s usually an automated message and after that it’s usually a real person. Just hit the 0 key on your phone a bunch and the person will either answer because they have a headset on or you’ll be connected to a real person. If you don’t believe it’s kohls ask them if they have on record your last purchase amount and date. It took them less than 10 seconds last night for the person to give me the exact amount I spent yesterday just hours earlier at the store

It's not a scam. I called the number back and it was indeed a Kohl's servicing department. And they did not ask for my full SSN, just the last 4 digits. I have worked in a call center for Volkswagen Credit and we were required to ask for a callers last 4 digits of SSN in order to ensure the caller was the account owner. Otherwise, we could not discuss the account in order to protect the account owners information!! Without verifying that information there's no way to confirm you are the account owner....duh.

Unwanted call

Same thought came through my mind. Just issued an alert on my credit report and will be following up.

It's Khols. They want their money because you didn't pay your bill. All they are asking for is your last four digits of your social security card to verify who you are. Most companies do this. Pay your bill and they will stop calling you.

I called Kohl's customer service number at (855) 564-5747 after receiving and reading posts about calls from (262) 703-1977. I kindly asked them to delete my number from their auto dial system and that if I received even one more phone call from them, I'd be reporting them to the DA's office, as well as harassing Kohl's. I underpaid my account by $5 - my bad. But to get multiple phone calls from them over $5? My business with Kohl's is over. Have you ever noticed the stores smell badly?

Call 1: called back the 888 number referenced in the +1 (262) 703-1977 call, immediatey was asked my SS number. Refused to give it.Call 2: called kohls number on website, referenced this voicemail/phone call, and they confirmed the 888 number was legit. Transferred me back over, didn't really help because I gave my mom the packaging slip I received from the fraudulent purchases to return tomorrow.Call 3: my mom sent me the packaging slip to reference. called 888 number from Call 1. Dude demanded my full DOB and last four of social to tell me a kohls card was opened in my name and needed my verbal confirmation of info to deactivate.Are kohls customer service people doing an inside job?

I just got a free annual credit report. This phone # is listed as having been mine! I've never lived in Wisconsin and am totally confused.
