WISCONSIN 262-703-1977 - THEY HAVE BEEN CALLING MY NUMBER FOR THE PAST 3 WEEKS, SOMETIMES 3 TIMES A DAY; AT LEAST 2 TIMES A DAY. ON FRIDAY NIGHT AROUND 8:00PM, THEY CALLED, AND MY HUSBAND ACTUALLY SPOKE WITH A LIVE PERSON. BEFORE, IT WAS JUST AUTOMATED PROMPTS TO ENTER ACCOUNT NUMBER OR SOCIAL SECURITY NUMBER. THE LADY ASKED TO SPEAK WITH MEGAN WAGNER. MY HUSBAND TOLD HER THERE WAS NO ONE AT THIS NUMBER BY THAT NAME AND THAT WE HAVE BEEN GETTING HARASSING CALLS FROM THEM FOR 3 WEEKS. HE TOLD HER THAT WE HAD NOTIFIED THE LOCAL POLICE DEPARTMENT AND ASKED HER TO NOT CALL US AGAIN. WE HAVE NOT HEARD FROM THEM SINCE THEN. I DON'T KNOW IF THEY HAVE ACTUALLY STOPPED THE CALLS FOR GOOD OR WILL CONTINUE WITH THEM LATER ON. IF THEY CONTINUE CALLING, I WILL HAVE MY TELEPHONE NUMBER CHANGED. THEY COULD PROBABLY ALSO GET THAT NUMBER TOO, SO I DON'T KNOW HOW MUCH GOOD THAT WOULD DO, BUT THAT WAS WHAT THE LAZY PERSON FROM VERIZON OFFERED ME WHEN I CALLED TO COMPLAIN. HE SAID HE DOESN'T THINK THIS IS A SCAM AND THAT IT WOULD BE A LOT OF TROUBLE TO TRACE THE CALLS. HE TOLD ME I WOULD HAVE TO PAY $4.00 PER CALL AND IT WOULD TAKE AT LEAST 4 CALLS TO TRACE THEM. I TOLD HIM NO WAY. I'M NOT PAYING MONEY TO STOP IDIOTS HARASSING ME WITH ANNOYING TELEPHONE CALLS. I PERSONALLY THINK IT IS A SCAM, AND WHOEVER IS DOING IT SHOULD BE BEHIND BARS....NOW!

Robo call asks for last 4 digits of social to "confirm" who I am. Calls daily on my cell!

Nope. YOU need to get a life. No one should give their SSN to someone "claiming" to be Kohls - they should contact Kohls directly, rather than relying on someone posting misinformation.

Repeated calls several times a day. I do not answer any calls that I do not recognize. This one, however, just goes on and on. When I Googled the number, it was fascinating to realize how wide spread the issue is with this number! Most of all, I was delighted about this link to report these calls. I hope that those of us getting the calls keep reporting and that someone out there is following up on them!

I called the real kohls and told them everything and that number 1-262-703-1977: is going through fraud....They will get caught.

I received calls from "Kohls" supposedly, 2 days in a row now, they ask for your ss# - don't give it to them

Most likely she didn't give them her work number.

I understand your position BUT you are assuming that these are valid attempts to collect debts. If you will read these posts, you will see that this is not the case! Anyone saying they are trying to collect a debt but they have to ASK for account info cannot be 'for real.'!!
