The recording told me it was Toyota of Ft. Worth telling my routine service was past due. I don't own a Toyota, never have, and don't live near or in Ft. Worth. Can we say SCAM!

I just received a call from this number and there was no one on the line. When I googled the number I found this web site.

Multiple calls per day to my mobile. No messages. No caller ID identifying the caller.

I just had another thought--I don't have a long distance carrier. So how was I able to call "Kohl's" back? I can only do that with 888 or 800 numbers. Odd.

Asked for my social.

Tried to call the number back and recorded message from Kohl's could be copied. Ask for last 4 numbers of my SSN and this is not normal so I didn't do it.

I have endured calls from this number for too long and I finally decided to take action.I called the number it give in the voice mail (1-888-814-3555) and it takes me to Kohl's Credit Center.DO NOT put in SSN or Account #, just press # and somebody will be on the line. As soon as the guy got on, I told him exactly what happened.He then asked for my phone number and asked me do I know a woman named Maria, which I have no idea who it was.Then he assured me that I will be stopping receiving the calls starting tomorrow.I am waiting to see what happen.

This is for sure not a scam! The number IS 100% Kohl's credit card collections number. My auto payment had not went through and they were calling to collect the late payment.

Sorry to be a pest, but I called back a second time. I got connected to the collections department. I tried to hang up, but my phone wouldn't hang up at all. It's a digital phone and displays the amount of time the call is taking. I just couldn't hang up for a few minutes.First it's a customer service survey, then collections, I am somehow able to call a non 800 or 888 number without a long distance carrier? Yep. This is definitely some sort of scam. For all we know, all these people claiming it is really Kohl's could be part of the scam.
