agree it is never a good idea to give even partial SSN#s over the phone once getting this call I called back to see what they wanted since my account had a zero balance
This number has been calling me for the past month, sometimes several times a day. I am annoyed because the automated system asks for last four of my SS#, acct #, DOB and wants to verify my address. I didn't give them any of it but they claim I am behind on my payments and asked if I wanted to pay the $70 by credit card over the phone then. I told them I would call Kohls myself because I believe they represented Kohls. The next day they called back (same automated system at first). I asked them to tell me my last purchase amount and date of purchase which they did. I asked them to recap my last few payments and they did except for one month which they said I forgot to make a payment (which I went back and verified that I had NOT missed one.) Evidently these people have actually gotten into Kohls system because they have actual data. Very scary and they are so persistant.
get this call 3-4 times a day. i'm 2 months late on my payment, oddly enough i quit my part time job at kohls because they're such an awful employer. i'm goin for an interview for a new job monday, but until then i obviously cannot pay them. sorry kohls, car payment, car insurance and rent take priority over paying you scumbags.
I received a call at 8am this morning claiming to be Kohls and asking me to call 888-814-3555.
I have received several calls from 262-703-1977. It is finally leaving me voicemail messages. The messages are all the same "call kohl's department store at 1-888-814-3555. The message repeats over and over until my voicemail hangs up. I checked online for Kohl's toll free number. That is NOT their toll free number. Beware!!!!
Unless someone has set up a card in your name...that happened to me. You can talk to them without having to give out any information if you explain and just ask what the call is in regards to. Some of this is common sense I mean come on who gives out their info when anyone calls?! If you do, DON'T!
I received a call from this number and told them I was not the person they were looking for and that their is not even a khols in my city. The person was rude and told me to give them the number of the person they were looking for, never heard of them. I informed them that if they call back they will be speaking to the police. My number is through a voip and I have it now programed to auto forward this number to our police dispatch. Will show the khols number etc.
