please stop calling me and leaving messages. I have a limited amount of minutes each month and I don't want them wasted with your messages. Thanks.
Research and survey companies that are not trying to sell a product or service are definitely exempt from the DNC regulations!
I hang up or don't answer when I see a caller ID I don't recognize. If it's important, they'll leave a message. My suspicions about this number have been confirmed by these comments. Just coincidentally, they started coming in when I had a house guest from Colorado who has the same area code, so I answered the first call (but hung up the minute they started talking). What makes them think anyone wants to jump up in the middle of dinner or while relaxing in front of the boob tube for a phone call from someone they don't know? They're a real annoyance.
It's 3am where I live and some Colorado number is calling me nonstop with thank you for calling aspen media. Then there is screaming or music playing right after.
Asked to speak to the owner. When I asked her what it was regarding she hung up. Call center loser.
Wow! 27 pages of complaints, and counting! The girl from Aspen Media calling from who knows what country, had great difficulty pronouncing the English words she had been taught, asking if this was the office of someone we were once affiliated with but who never worked here. Our business got a VOIP system last year - it is a troublesome system, but the good news is that it allows call blocking, so I was able to plug this number in, and hopefully that should stop the idiocy from this outfit unless they're using multiple numbers to call from.I urge anyone who can possibly do so, to get some sort of call blocking software for your phone system. It helps.
Received two calls from this number in the last two days. Didn't answer either time. Now that I know what they do, I think I'll answer next time and play along with them for as long as I can. Ask them what the weather is like in Boulder, who the QB is for the CU Buffaloes and how good is he, etc., etc. Push to the limit. Ask if they went to college, what their GPA was, and how many sales have they made today. Turn the tables and pretend you are doing market research on market research firms - ask their name, date of birth, whether they hire illegals, etc. If they are trying to give you a free subscription to a trade magazine, ask if they have a trade magazine for telemarketers, that you need some new tricks to scam people. Have fun with them! You be the Bully.
