Looks like Aspen Media represents several clients for different purposes. In my case I had requested a free subscription to SC Magazine because I work in InfoSec, They were just verifying that I wished to continue receiving the magazine for free, which I did.
It's unbelievable they don't give up. So disruptive to business. Thankfully with caller ID it shows as Aspen Media and they can be avoided by not answering or I just pick up and then hang up. It won't stop them though. It's harassing that they have to call all the time. they stopped for a while and now have started up again.
call at least once a day if not more, we are on the son not call list but they keep on calling- have them on blocked number now.
Tired of Aspen Media calling. I"M NOT INTERESTED IN ANYTHING THEY WANT, ARE SELLING OR NEED!
#303-786-9500 has called the company 3 times in the last hour and every time I answer there is no one on the other end. After 5 seconds of waiting for someone to say something, the phone hangs up. Very odd and annoying.
Caller ID pops up with Aspen Media and phone number is 303-786-9500. when I answer the phone I act like I can't hear who they are asking for and I repeat who do you want to speak with and then they ask for the person again then I ask who 7 times! bahaha! So easy to mess with them! I love it!!!!I love to mess with these low life telemarketers that call our office especially the ones that are from India! lol. It
Please do not call my cell number in the future. My cell phone is listed with Do Not Call service.
I work at a call center. First one I have ever worked in. Haven't been there that long but Bob, you are absolutely right. This job is certainly an eye opener. I have not seen some of the illegal behavior that you have described nor do I want to. That being said, the first time I do see this illegal behavior I'm out of there. During my short time there I've seen co- workers come in consistently late, fall asleep on the job, and one co-worker had the cops and plain clothes cops show up looking for him. Sheesh! There also seems to be more pity and understanding towards these types of employees from my supervisors. Don't really understand it. My modus operendum is to just come in, keep my head down, do my job, collect my paycheck, and go home.
