Rangefinder magazine, which is a free subscription I have. They just wanted to confirm my info and make sure I wanted to renew my subscription.
Why the hell are they calling at 8:15am? They aren't supposed to start until 9am. Not everyone is up for an early job! That being said, I am so tired of political calls and research calls being exempt from telemarketing rules. I work from home and they disrupt my day and I can't make them stop! Since they woke me up and I didn't get to the phone in time, I'm assuming that's why they called me based on everyone's comments. This needs to stop.
so day two of the week and we've had 6 calls that I know of (I don't always answer the phone) from Aspen Media. I've asked them since last year to stop. But within the past 24 hours it's non stop. Now if I see area code 303 and Aspen Media pop up on caller ID I just hang up on it. yesterday they asked for a former very very old employee, and other employees, and today I am not going to waste my time even speaking to them. This needs to be illegal, especially hounding a business. Trolls. Are they completely braindead and unaware of these reports that they are considered harassment?
It IS illegal, however, when a telemarketer calls a number that does not belong to the subscriber (IE a work mobile) AND is listed on the federal do not call list.
Ttake the 30 seconds to tell them not to call. Those "people" are paid to do a job as most of you are I'm sure. If you provide verbal or written requests and the calls continue then you have a valid complaint. Answering the phone and screaming at someone then hanging up doesn't solve your issue. You do have rights and those should be protected however at some point you have to act in a reasonable manner. Telemarketing/Collections/Market Research firms employ countless individuals that would otherwise be unemployed standing in line somewhere. Try and remember the next time you want to attack one of these people that they are attempting to provide for themselves and possibly a family. Maybe you'd rather support them through welfare? At least they are functioning members of society! Again, you do have rights so don't allow yourself to be taken advantage of but cooler heads always prevail.
I subscribed to a loyalty card at ameristar casino in blackhawk co, and started receiving these calls. It might be a coincidence. But I think not. Don't give those people your number.
Really????? I would never buy a thing from a scam outfit who makes it their mission to call everyday multiple times....Remember Marie its my phone and I pay the bill....not some scam outfit....wish the people who have post could call you all the time and waste your time....What a joke of answer
And at it again today...on to asking for another employee. they have been asked to stop so they are calling for every single employee as if that is ok. Unbelievable.
