I read on one of these sites that the credit card COMPANIES are giving the phone numbers out, and to stop them, go into your account, and change your phone number - so I did - I made my number the INFORMATION number - [585]-555-1212 - and HAVEN'T GOTTEN A CALL SINCE THEN. It may be just a fluke, but I haven't been bothered by Rachel in two weeks now.

Cardholder Services ! I just ramble on when they call. Finally tell them I'm just adding to their Watts line cost. I had one tell me to "go F**K myself :) Great satisfaction...

This call comes daily. The message is to reduce my credit card rate.

The technology is so advanced. But we still cannot track these spammers down ? I am sure FTC is getting some payback. This has to stop!

I have been getting these calls for months from different numbers all over the country from Seattle to Orlando. Several times I pressed 9 to speak to a rep and as soon as I tell them I'm on a do not call list they hang up on you but they still keep calling. Now I just answer and hang up immediately for unknown long distance callers. I don't believe anyone will or can do anything to stop these criminals. It's a scam don't talk to them. If the lousy credit card companies are responsible for this the government should come down on them HARD for all the crap they've pulled over the last couple of years and to think WE BAILED THEM OUT and nothing happens to any of them DISGUSTING!

We, too, are getting calls from the infamous Rachel from card holder services - at least two a day and this has has been going on for several years. We have caller ID, but sometime she fools us with a seemingly valid phone number and I answer. She is driving us crazy! You would think with all the modern technology, this pest could be stopped!!! Help!!!a

I KEEP GETTING CALL ON EVERY CELL PHONE AND THE HOME PHONE FROM RACHEL AT CARDHOLDER SERVICES. I HAVE ASKED REPEATEDLY FOR YEARS TO BE TAKEN OFF THE LIST .EACH TIME THEY HANG UP ON ME. I TRY TO CALL BACK THE NUMBER BUT IT NEVER WORKS. I HAVE EACH NUMBER LISTED ON THE DO NOT CALL LIST. I HAD TO PAY FOR CALLER ID ON MY HOME PHONE JUST TO GET THE NUMBER SO I COULD REPORT THEM. THIS COMPANY OWES ME MONEY BACK FOR THE AIR TIME FOR MY CELL PHONES THAT THEY WASTED AND MONEY FOR THE CALLER ID I HAD TO INSTALL TO GET THEIR NUMBER TO REPORT THEM. PLEASE MAKE THEM STOP.

'Rachel' has been calling me for a year or so. Today 'she' called me again and I told the Indian-speaking woman that answered to take me off the list. She immediately said "f**k you, f**k you, f**k you, f**k you, f**k you" and then hung up. I hope that means our 'relationship' is over but I have a funny feeling that I will continue to get calls when 'she' calms down. I think the whole thing is funny but I feel sorry for any one who may have been scammed.
