i am so sorry you keep receiving these calls, but please know it is not me calling. i had this number disconnected in april of 2014. i have filed complaints with 5 federal and state agencys and can not get any help to stop this spoofing. please file a complaint with the fcc and ftc. anyone receiving these call i would urge to also file complaints.
A lady with a foreign accent, that was not very nice , told me that there was a problem with my computer, and that it was sending signals to her. She did not even know who I was, and I hung up...scam.
Getting daily calls from this number. I haven't answered and they don't leave a message. I called the number back and it says the number is out of service. Thanks for all the informative comments above.☺️
Told me I was having tech issues and wanted to access my computer remotely. Told him I was on a Mac (actually on a PC) and he told me that he was aware of this. He then wanted me to go to teamviewer. I told him I did, then he told me to click something. I then yelled "o [***] my computer is on fire, what did you do?!"He told me he hopes that I burn in the fire. I told him he was a piece of [***]. He hung up. Fairly fun call, but annoying because I'm on the do not call list.
Getting 2-3 calls a day from this number. Finally answered to tell them off and and a guy with a heavy indian accent answered and said he was with Microsoft and was calling about my computer software. I repeatedly asked him how he got my number and he ignored me and kept going with what sounded like a script. Finally said do not call me again along with some colorful words and hung up. Total scam. Block this number.
(304)743-8823..... These [***] are getting WAY to friggin gutsy!! First call this morning was at 6:15am EST; second at 7:22am EST.....WTF????This is getting WAY too out of hand to be calling at those hours and not giving a rats [***]. I think it is WAY OVER DUE that OUR GOVERNMENT officials get off their [***] and enforce the "Do Not Call List"!!!I'm more than a little tired of our Government think of us as a bunch of illiterate imbeciles. They inform us of a 'fictitious' do not call list to make us think they care.....ABSURD!!!!!And to the person referring to anyone that posts a comment on here as "whiney [***]", just DON'T even go there!! If you don't like our so called...."whiney [***] complaints", then STOP coming to this page to read the comments!!!!I would usually just shut the ringer on my phone OFF for the wee hours of the morning that these East Indian jerks are beginning to call at, except for the fact that I have an elderly parent who's health isn't that great and could pass at any time, so my phone HAS to remain on.To " Mr.Whiney [***] commenter"..... Can you make yourself human for a moment and perhaps feel what it is like getting a phone call THAT early in the morning if YOU had an ailing elderly parent???? Hopefully, you can and will, for a change, keep your RUDE comments to yourself!!!It's about time our Government start giving a damn and ACTUALLY devise something to STOP these [***] from violating our privacy and peace of mind.I truly believe that there is NO DO NOT CALL LIST at all and never was!!! It was someone's brain storm to say there was just to appease the General Public!!Maybe if we ALL got together and sent letters (by U.S. Mail) to both our representatives at BOTH the State level and ALSO to their offices in Washington, they may actually decide to really come up with a real solution. Why I say U.S. Mail??? Because we could FLOOD both State and United State offices with TONS of paper & envelopes. Email would have NO IMPACT at all because they can be cleared with a push of a computer key without even being read.Where as paper mail would at least have to be opened to see WHAT the communiqué inside those envelopes is about!!Too costly because of the price of stamps??? HELL NO.....the cost of mailing them (as far as I'm concerned) would be worth it, if it made our Representatives finally realize we are SERIOUS about demanding they do something to actually STOP all these telescammers!!!!!!!It would HAVE to be an 'organized group effort', where we could come up with a DATE that we would. ( ALL of us together) mail them out so they would all arrive at their destination on or about theSAME DAY!!!!!You may think I'm jesting, but I am NOT. We could call the movement something like....an Anti telemarketing Mutiny!!!!Any takers???? How about suggestions on how we may organize and promote this????
Kenneth Brown just called and i listened till he wanted access to my computer and I told him I didnt trust him and he started yelling at me I said whoa whoa no need to get angry with me but he just kept yelling telling me he was going to block my computer and any computer I ever buy in future, I laughed and said Ok do that have a great day
