Automated message stating that there was a problem with my credit card account and I needed to press 1 to talk to an operator. I don't have any credit cards. I pressed one and the guy started asking for my CC # so they could lower my interest rate. I asked they guy why they were calling me as I'm on the Do Not Call List. He said that this isn't a telemarketing call as they are working for my CC company. I told him that I don't have any credit cards so it HAS to be a telemarketing call. He got upset with me at this point. Wouldn't tell me the name of the company he works for and then hung up. I tried calling back but they have a bogus recording stating the number is disconnected. These guys should be tarred, feathered, and thrown in prison for life.

9:52 a.m. today, got the call, they left no msg. on ans. mach., and I did not call back or anything. Also am on no call list. Other calls last 2 days from diff. #'s which are also scams. Be alert!

just rec'd call from this number and didnt answer...Called back and the number has been disconnected!!!

how do you report this - and to whom?? and will anything be done? what about local TV news networks - they always seem productive in dealing with stuff like this.

Call just came to my home number as a Lawrence Sandri @ 305-654-1842. I was on the computer and Googled the number as the phone rang and saw all the other posts about this being a scam. They've called my home-based business line the past few days leaving a message about "time is running out to fix my account". There is nothing wrong with my account.Who do we report these bozos to that can make any difference?

I just got a call from this number on my cell phone. It was a recorded voice telling me my auto insurance is about to expire!!!! Is this a joke??

Got a call, pressed 1. When I asked for the name of the company, I was told "Consumer Services". When I told the woman on the other end that I was on the "do not call" registry, she immediately hung up.

When I picked up, an automated voice told me time was running out to secure a lower interest rate on my credit card. I considered waiting for the live person to come on so I could tell them I intended to press charges since I have registered my cell # with the National No Call database.

lower your interest rates, lady very rude when asked the name of company she was calling from. Reported phone number to do not call registry as I am on the do not call list.
