I answered after this number has called my over the past several days. Caller claimed to be doing a political survey of California voters (I’m in CA) and offered $5 for participating. I politely declined and surprisingly, the caller was polite in response.

Said they were the Georgia Department of Health, but the number is a Chicago number. They called me for two weeks straight saying my number was picked for a random surgery about something. Asked if I had time to take their survey. I told them I didn't have time and asked if they were from the GA Department of Health why they were calling from a Chicago number. They quickly said that was where their main office was. When I told them I didn't believe that and thought they were lying the man hung up on me. They called me two days ago and it was a woman, she asked if I could take their survey. I told her I didn't want to take it and for them to remove me from their list of whatever bs it was, she hung up as well.

Just got called on my cell phone by someone conducting a survey for the Los Angeles County Department of Health. Asked her for their information so I could report them because I am on the Do-Not-Call list. She said she's from "Act Associates" (?) and that the call back number is "the one shown on your phone".

They keep calling and don't leave a message. Saturday they called at 8pm.... Wish I could find their physical address and personally make them understand this is an invasion of my privacy....

Sounds like they are trying to find out who is Jewish and who isn't. Is this to establish some sort of extermination list or something? I did not answer but thanks to this site I now know that I definitely will not.

I have composed and will send out tomorrow a cease and desist letter to them demanding they remove my number from their database and not call me again. CC going to the Attorney General office. This company is based out of NY and they are a firm that conducts surveys for clients of all different types. A website in which people post their experience working with the company indicates the workers are reprimanded or fired for placing phone numbers on the internal do not call list. They are also not a telemarketing company so the do not call list does not apply to them. It only takes a few minutes of research to find the information you need in order to properly identify this company.
