Received call from number 3142251459, did not answer, knew it was my BOC since they contact me by email, only, because I opted out a long time ago from phone calls. Put the number on my CPR blocker, now number doesn't ring through. This number is located out of St. Louis, and is a landline #. I don't answer any number I don't regonize, or doesn't leave a voicemail.

Since BofA is a very large company, I would actually be slightly surprised if they called from a local area code. And a third-party survey group would likely never leave a message, even if the business they are conducting their calls for would. This seems to be a totally legitimate contact, and they will likely let you opt out if you answer the phone and request it (though I did not opt out myself, so I cannot confirm).

Re: 314-226-1459Scammer using a Caller ID Spoofing Service to display whatever co. they want to be to your phone. Usually spoofing, Bank of America. Keeps calling to speak to my FAX machine.

This was a survey on a neighborhood branch of Bank of America. Stated up front that if I felt uncomfortable I could refuse to answer any question. The questions were nothing of a personal nature but centered on what I had experienced at the branch in terms of the personnel at the bank.

I have spoken with Bank Of America, and they have stated that its not them.They wanted me to forward the suspicious call details via e-mail to abuse@bankofamerica.com

I'm not sure what call blocker the other person have but I have a T-Lock Call Blocker from hqtelecomwhile it's not perfect or am I affiliated with them in any way.It's the best damn thing I ever bought.

I received a call from this number last night wanting to speak to my wife, long story short , I explained she wasn't available and I handle all banking in the house hold. I asked if I could help her and she said NO. She must speak to my wife.I called Bank of America this morning and a rep told me there is NO ONE from that number from BOA and they NEVER have 3rd party calling there customers. She will report my phone call to the fraud department ASAP, so they can investigate.
