Called and said my name is steve childress, with bank of america is this ______ _______ proceeded to tell him that i do not talk to numbers or unknown persons, that i did not call personally.I have noted with ba, no survey, solicitation calls, marketing whatever are to be made to my phone numbers. So even on the dnc list, it is also noted with ba as well. Do not call, so if this guy was with b a he would have known - do not call...So i consider this a scammer/fraudulent caller1st call at 4:01 p on 11/06/215 this call was at 8:08 pmcalled on 11/05/2015 at 6:16 pm as well.
Was called seven times yesterday-called BOA- spoke with representative who spoke over me. Said it was from an outside costumer survey company but they "would never call you more than once"- LOOK AT THE BLOGS FOOL! Said i should be on a "NO Call List". I am but it does not exclude hemorrhoid customer survey companies. Transferred me to another BOA department and assured me- no more calls AND why don't I give BOA my email address so if they should need to contact me they could. They already have it AND have contacted me many times with customer satisfaction surveys ...and THEY HANDLE MY MONEY???? Obviously their ability and word is exemplified by...yet another call!
They tried this with me. No 800 number, claimed to be a survey from BOA. Told them flat out I no longer answer surveys as I can never be sure they aren't scammers from a spoofed number. Let's see what they do.
1-314-226-1459 is a number saying they are Bank of America, and of course they are not. I do not pick up, so I dont know what they would have said. They leave no message, so I blocked it.
I just called them back from my unidentified phone which cannot be traced, just out of curiosity. I got a message that they were a 'survey' company and were not restricted by the rules of telemarketing. So if I did not want any more calls from them, I would have to call another # which the recording gave me to Opt Out. Which of course I did not do. Just block them. I do have a totally hilarious speech that I used to give live telemarketers, but nothing is live any more, so sadly I can't use my speech.
They call, leave no message...if it was a legit business and really needed to talk to you they'd leave a message, but they don't , so it's probably a "CRAP" call...
I checked with Bank of America. Despite the caller ID saying this was Bank of America it is not.
You're absolutely right Jb - Bank of America or any major legitimate credit card co. does not do surveys. They keep calling, asking for someone who hasn't lived here, EVER, and I have told them that at least 12 times. I just don't answer and if I do I just hang up.
Caller ID showed Bank of America. I answered the phone call and no one said a word.I do not usually answer calls when I do not recognize the number. I am sure it is a scam.
