When the caller ID says "News" there's no chance in hell I'll pick up.

Received another call today from 314-963-8895 so I finally answered it. The conversation went like this. A woman asked me if I was -----, I said yes. She said "I'm going to send you some coupons for Macy's, Kohls, and Target. I said "ok" Then she said is your address still -------? Dumbfounded I said "yes", and before I could say another word or ask any questions she hurriedly said thank you and hung up! Leaving me thinking "What was that all about and WHO was that"???Now I'm worried about what might happen! Has anyone else had this experience with them?

They have been calling me for over two weeks now. I have never anwsered the call. I signed up for the newspaper for a fundraiser from some high school girl that was raising money for college. I paid ten dollars to get the Sunday paper. I got the paper, but also a phone call about four times a day!!!

You are crazy. Are you a coward or something? If someone calls you and keeps calling you, you dont ignore it. To make it stop, you answer and say not interested. If you dont, you stay on a list for their sales opp. for that time period and your number never gets updated.

I got called from 314-963-8865 two times. He asked me such a ridiculous question. He said he is from Oklahoman. But I didnt believe it cuz his area code from somewhere else.

just press answer and then hang up immediately, that's I'm doing for the scammers, after several days they stop calling me. This is new one, caller ID says PAPER. Never answered, not going to do that too. If you just angry, answer and yell at em. but other else like i said, press talk then off immediately, they thinking it is a problem or something:) i love to play with this stupids.

I just received a call too. The gentleman was selling AZ Republic newspaper. We don't have that delivered and this is a new number and the only one who has had it is the phone company. What happened to privacy and respecting the individual? The Do Not Call Registry is great but can not totally ensure your numbers are being passed around by others. IE my phone company who I'm paying to have a Non-Published number. I appreciate all the feedback I've read but it's a shame to even need this kind of opportunity to share.
