These people seem very serious about intimidation and misinformation. Whoever calls from this number seems out to harass you into giving up private information. They lie about how you can make these calls stop. DO NOT BELIEVE ANYTHING THEY SAY AND DO NOT GIVE THEM ANY INFORMATION!!!!I got about 12 calls in a row from this number yesterday, about 10 of the calls came AFTER I had explicitly stated that they had the wrong number and were violating my privacy, unnecessarily tying up a private line, and illegally harassing me. They have been calling every few months for a couple of years, I'd estimate. They ask for "Leon" every time. They imply that they are trying to recover debt. In the past, when I said they have the wrong number, they eventually become apologetic and give me a number I'm supposed to call to straighten things out and make the calls stop. The number they give me just hangs up on me and I don't ever get to correct the situation. The calls today were different. I recognized the woman's voice from talking to these people before. I immediately explained that they had the wrong number and demanded they remove me from all their lists and never call again and I hung up. She called back, didn't even say hello and barked, "Where's Leon?" I told her she had the wrong number, that we had already made a formal request to be removed from their list, asked that they never call again, and I hung up. She called back. At that point I suspected that this was not really a collections agency mix-up, so I asked for her name. She said her name was "Lisa Jones." I said "Lisa Jones, you are harassing me. I have explicitly asked that you stop calling my private line. I've told you this is the wrong number, and I am requesting that you to never call this line again" and hung up.She called back. I repeated myself and asked to talk to her manager. "Lisa" professed she was just calling me back to explain what *I* needed to do to make the calls stop. As if she had no control over the fact that she was calling me over and over! Since I already know their "correction" process is bogus, I explained to her that I don't have to do anything other than ask her personally to stop calling and said I would report her to the police if she called again. I hung up and the phone immediately rang again from the same number. I picked it up and said "You have the wrong number. There is no Leon here. I'm requesting to be removed from all your lists and that you never call here again." A different woman's voice interrupted and said "This is Lisa's manager." I requested again to be removed from all of their lists. She kept interrupting and then said "If you want off our lists you need to tell me which of our companies the account is with" or something like that. Gurl, please. As if you can use my private line to strong-arm me into telling you private information about my credit. I informed her that I'd already asked that they stop calling this number. She tried to tell me I had to call such and such a number, but I told her that she was violating my privacy and if I got another call from her number I was going to "report Lisa Jones and her manager to the police."They called back. It scared me that even though I'd said I was reporting them to the police they still kept calling. I was too scared to pick up the phone this time, but there's no way I was going to let them harass me into taking my phone off the hook -- I need my land line for emergencies. It sounded like they might have left a message, but I didn't listen to it because I was too upset to hear anything from them. I was so scared and angry and confused. Then they called again. This time it sounded like there was an automatic hang-up when the machine picked up. Then they called again, same cut-off when the machine answered. Then they called again. Same thing. Then they called again. Same thing.I'm not sure how many more times they called, but I felt like a prisoner in my own house! I worried whether they had a contact in my area code who might come to my house with some line like, "Since we couldn't reach you by phone, now we're allowed to come onto your private property to try to retrieve $ owed" or some BS like that. They were so disrespectful hounding me on the phone, I wouldn't put it past them!
Guy called from above number, asking for my husband, it was about our Toyota truck. I told him my husband wasn't here and what it was exactly about ( they been calling about getting extended warranty for our Toyota truck, which we told them before we didn't want) he called me a nosey b..... I called him a f... idiot and that he should find another job and hung up on him. He called back right away, but I didn't answer, he left no message.
I have had several of these calls & if I call back it is a non working phone no#. They call to harass me & my daughter. I am fed up with it! . My caller ID says Service Call.
We are getting repeated calls ... one was a male said he wanted to speak to us about a car warranty. We have a new car with a full warranty! My husband told them no thanks... but they keep calling and hanging up. Call back does not go through.
I gave you what you wanted. I put you in the no call list. don't be rude with your words and I will not be rude with my actions
Rec'd call 6/8/12 at 6:00p. Asked for Mr or Mrs O. Guy said he was calling from the auto processing department. I said "auto processing of what?" He said they handle all makes and models of vehicles. I didn't allow him to say anymore. Told him "we are not going to buy a warranty, thanks anyway," and I hung up. This is getting ridiculous. I have never done business with them, whoever they are, so they have no right to call me!!!!!Telemarketer or scammer? I don't know.
