Man called and said he was with TOyota and my warrenty was up and he could get me a extended one..He said he was from Orange Calif. He put another girl on who ask me questions like do you go 4 wheeling in it and where drive simple questions then she told me that I would have to tell Ryan when he came back on the phone a yes or no right away they couldnt call back.. Ryan came back on and gave me his spiel.. then he when into financing and at that point I stated I am NOT giving you any money over the phone.. HE HUNG UP.. I tried to call back and got dead air..
Also got a call today (5/29) from utica, NY with the same number showing in the caller ID. If it is a Verizon cell phone, then verizon should be notified and the utica Police Dept to apprehend the violator.I don't pick up on numbers I don't know and am on the DNC list.... what good that does!
Caller uses violent, obsene language against the answerer Reports he is involved in auto warrantee busines and knows everything about us. Threatens to make our lives a living hell!
got a call yesterday from this # the guy said my name was entererd into a drawing at a bibgo lounge and I needed to come pick up the check this guy new my name,address,ect... my husband got on the phone and ask the guy a lot of questions like do we have to pay anything to get this check,do we have to buy anything ect... the guy said no just come pick up your check he gave us an address to come to then my husband ask if he could come get it for me the guy said I have to be the one to pick it up. so my husband drove me to the address he gave us it was a secluded wooded area on a dirt road with only a few houses on the street. We came home and tried to call the number back it said that phone # couldnt recive incoming calls. Then I called the police because I was creeped out.nThe officer that called me back said this guy had called people last year and stolen thousands of dollars from thier checking accounts but that it concerned him too because now he is trying to get people to meet him in person.
Why are you guys saying you've done something (called the police, reported the number, etc.) if you haven't? According to a top official with the Maryland police, they haven't received any other reports regarding this number, and therefore cannot do anything.Call your provider, go through the process of tracing the number and FOLLOW THROUGH with reporting the number.Complaining on the Internet does nothing in the official capacity; sure it's a pain to follow the appropriate procedures, but that's the only way the police will DO anything.Unless you want to continue being victimized by this fool who believes himself to be unstoppable--and with this lack of reaction, that certainly seems to be the case--report these calls to your police department.
I've been receiving several calls from this number 931-939-1963. I haven't answered any of them and they haven't left any voicemails but has become a nuisance. I registered this number in my "Call Screening" which autoroutes them to a message that calls are not being accepted at this time. I hope this works...this is bs!
The A-Holes will not stopp calling, same as above! Going to buy an Air Horn today at walmart, will see how the low life's like the Air Horn!
This guy called and repeatedly butchered my wife's name asking if she was home. I told him no one by that name lived at the address. He was finally able to manage to ask for my wife by her first name; and I asked him what was the call regarding? He replied with, "Sir.. you, like, are honestly?.. a very nose-ee person, like.." I said, "So, like, are you on drugs, like? Cause you, like, sound, like it..." He sort of laughed in a foolish "I have no response for that" manner and hung up.This is pretty much the best example of government sponsored harassment. What I mean by this is: The government obviously does nothing to fix the problem even though my tax dollars support the National Do Not Call List, the associated website, and bureaucrats collecting fat salaries, benefits and pensions to do NOTHING. I am sponsoring the activity - unwillingly so - but it comes out of my back pocket in the end. I have made literally twenty complaints on the DNC website in the past couple years - nothing get's done. They even admit, when pressed, that they are powerless to do anything about violations. So? Thanks for nothing. We need to abolish the NDNC list immediately. The only thing it does is cost us money and make an excuse for politicians to claim they are doing something about a problem when they do nothing at all except cost the country money.
Same as everyone else. They say they represent GM and can extend our Saturn Vue warranty. When we ask the name of their company they start talking real fast about warranty coverage. We stopped talking and waited for her to finish her spiel then asked WHAT IS THE NAME OF YOUR COMPANY and she said Auto Processing. I can't find any such company online or on the stock page. RUN don't walk away from these crooks.
