These people keep calling my phone trying to sell auto warranty for a vehicle I already have a warranty on. I asked that they not call b/c we already have a warranty w/the auto dealer and they are still calling and refuse to stop. I am reporting this to my cable company and the local police department.
I received a total of six call so far from this number progressively getting more profane. I am reporting it to the authorities
Received call around 4:15pm with "Service Call" on caller id. Answered "hello?" and heard nothing, then as if a machine realized I had picked up I could hear the background noise kick in (sounded like a busy office) and a guy asked for my mother by first name only. I said she wasn't home right now and he asked if I was Mr. Hicks and I replied I was her son. I was already starting to ask who was calling and I'd tell her to call back when he hurriedly said "Ok ill call back later" and hung up. My first thought was "is my mom having an affair with this guy?" LOL even tho we live nowhere close to this 315 area code. I then searched the number through Google and found this website. I wanted to call him back and give him a piece of my mind before I saw that noone can get through to the number but my girlfriend advised me against it. I instead sent him a text that went as so:ok paul or randall or whatever your calling yourself, your a loser with nothing better to do than try to scam ppl and guess what? Noones falling for your sh*tThat was around 15 or 20 minutes ago and no response so I assume they don't receive texts either

I received a call @1:02pm today. when I answered no one was there. I called the number back and was told this # was not in service. Strange a number not in service can make a call to someone on the no call list.
My elderly father received a call from this number today at 5:22 PM. It was spoofed to a canadian number on caller ID, but I found the number through My Cox's Phone Tools call logs on their website. I don't live with my parents, but very nearby and our phone numbers are just one digit off. The conversation went like this:315: Is Edward there?Father: No, this is Eddie's father. Can I take a message or give you his phone number?315: No. *indecipherable muttering*Father: Sorry, I didn't understand you.315: Yeah, give Eddie a message for me. Tell him "Eddie better change his face or I'll change it for him and it won't be pretty. You can count on that." (hangs up)I filed a police report and started looking online and found this site. I thought it was especially strange since I rarely go out, work 60hrs/wk in a white collar profession where I'm never in a position to make enemies, and spend every weekend out of town.I'm calling it a prank call.
