My family is has been recieving calls from this number every week or so, We don't usually answer but yesterday I did. The man asked to speak to my husband and when I said he was unavailable, there was a lot of sighing from this fellow, I asked what was wrong and he stated it was a matter of national securtiy. I sarcastically suggested he call the president and his response was to pass on a message to my husband, "the danger has landed" My caller ID list the number as Utica, NY 1-315-939-1963

Harrassing, even stupid calls for this number, the latest ...his message was about national security and "the danger has landed"

I got a call from this number this afternoon. The man asked for my daughter. I told him she wasnt home and asked if I could take a message. I said this is Big Dxxx and I want to slam her.

these [***] keep calling. i told the one today to stop calling and he made threats

Keeps calling, says nothing, but i can hear them breathing on the other side and then they hang up. Three times this week at least. Creepy.

Phone read "service call" recorder said "log in sucess" and hung up

I've been getting the same exact thing.

There is a simple solution to avoid answering unwanted telemarketing, political surveys or annoying phone calls. I have Caller ID. If I don't recognize the phone number I don't answer the phone. I have an answering machine. If the call is that important I figure the caller will leave a message. Sure, I still get those bogus phone calls but I never answer them. After a while they lose interest and stop calling.

2 calls today. Said they received my info from the local BMV. That's false because BMV does not have the number they called on. I have added them to the reject list on my phone. I have had to block more scammed in the last 3 years than I had to in the 10 years before that. I wish there was a way to stop the scammers permanently.

Turn it around on them and do what I did. Get a Digitone Call Blocker (and, no, I do not work for them. I just have one). Seriously, a solid 30% of all calls coming into my house phone were from telemarketers, telescammers, politicians, survey takers, and zombie debt collectors. Now they are all blocked. Once again, life is good. An alternative might be to find a number that when you call it, gives you a message that the number is not in service. Then you use your selective call forwarding and send all of your unwanted calls to that number (or your ex, whatever). Good luck all.
