They keep calling several times a day, asking for my husband. When I ask what it is about, they hang up! Now when I answer, they just hang up on me.

This guy said he was from the warranty company about my car and wanted to know how many miles I had on it.I said to him that he should remove my name and number from their system, and he hung up!

We just received a call from this number that is similar to all the ones here. We have received 4 this week. After reading all of this I decided to call Verizon and found out from their nuisance department and found out that it is not a Verizon number but a Level 3 Communications number. Level 3's corporate number is 720-888-1000.

I also think reporting this to the media might help as well.

Just got a call from them which was exactly like most here. A gruff male voice asked if I was Alan. I said "who's calling?"He said, "I'll tell you if you tell me if you're Alan, IDIOT" and hung up.

The do not call list is a big sham. all the telemarketers just use it as a do call list to call! I had a woman calling two weeks after I made the mistake of Listing my home and cell numbers. she was trying to sell auto warranty's. I told her I was on the do not call list. she said her company had a prior business relationship with me and was not a telemarketer so the do not call list did not apply. I asked her who she got my number from. she said off the do not call list! so her company considers being on the do not call list as a prior business relationship.

Repeated calls saying they are a service company

Just had the caller ID show up "service call" from this number... didn't know what was going on so I answered it. No one there. Tried calling back from my landline and my cell, doesn't even ring its just dead silence. Why do people bother us with this garbage?

This # called twice. Read out of caller ID says "service call"
