Also just got a call from this #, the person said that he wanted to talk to me about a problem with my Microsoft computer, I hung-up.
A guy with a thick Indian (India) accent called me and asked for me by name. He asked what state I was from, and after telling him, he asked if I lived at my correct address. He told me the police were coming to arrest me and that I needed to have my i.d.and money ready. I knew this was fake due to the fact that I don't live in California. I asked him what I was being arrested for, but I couldn't understand him. Just kept telling me to have my i.d and money ready.
I just got that call today too and I hung up on him and he called back right away and told me he will call back at 5 when I was going to be home.
This number has been calling me recently trying to sell me solar panels. I'm on a job search, so perhaps that's how my number got out there... It's so frustrating because I answer the phone thinking it might be a job call back, but instead it's creepy telemarketing.
They just did me basically the same way saying they were gonna **** me tonight when I told them I didnt want their money
I also got a call from this number in which a man with a thick indian accent said he was from microsoft and my computer was infected with spy ware and viruses and he wanted to walk me through some kind of process. I said he obviously had no idea what he was talking about and he passed me off to his 'supervisor'. I can't believe these kind of scammers are out there. I have also started getting these calls since I searched for a job through a number of online services. It's disappointing that this kind of thing goes on.
These guys are nothing but scam artists. Don't even bother to answer them! Just press #60 and when the menu comes on press 2, then add them to your blocked calls.
