Yeah, You guys aren't being specific on the complaints besides the pay. I want to know specifics? What's so bad about this company?
again the homeowner would not be liable, nor would i pay you for work i already paid someone else. We did not authorize you to come into our home. (There are a few we wish would have never come into our home.) We authorized Kitchen Carolina to come in. What they did with the money is between you and them.
I've put many liens against homes and won about 7 out of 11 in the past 12 yrs. But an easier solution is to do what we do, KC owns money for materials or work just pull up the hard wood and have the homeowner take it up with KC, very simple and no one gets a lien put against a home. Trust me it works if you need some reassuring just let me know. KC unfortunately only hired a few of us who are licensed, bonded and insured what a mess they have created but slowly they will be pushed out of business and people will go on with their lives another day.
you weren't paid because your work sucks and it cost the company more money to fix your mess than you were owed in the first place.
They offered us the job... we are a small tile specialty company... we turned down because they want you to drive up to 3 or 4 hours away and they dont pay didly... the first job they offered us was a 23' long back splash that payed 175 and it was three hours away and we had to supply the mastic........ RIP OFF. they only pay like 1.75 a foot for tile and who knows where you will have to go
Sir, you always have the option to turn down a particular job that you are offered. Most contracting companies have set pay scales. If that is outside of your scope of either work or travel just turn down the particular job. It typically doesn't give you a black-eye with the company. The bigger problem that I see is that anxious sub-contractors take a job, and later decide to no-show or try to leverage more money once they're in the people homes. This is unacceptable, and the contractual agreement covers the Contractor. In this case Kitchen Carolina. Quit whinning, think about a job and it's scope before accepting. If you accept show-up and do the work without voicing your opinion to the customer. If you run into unexpected issues on the job, contact the Contracting company and discuss it with them. Most people are reasonable and will work with you to resolve. This has been my experience with Kitchen Carolina.
all work is paid for once it is inspected. if you haven't been paid, it's probably because your work isn't complete or it's of poor quality. your just a complainer. all the terms are spelled out before they hire you. my work has always been top notch and i get paid on time. you just need to learn how to do good work and follow the company guidelines. they don't pay for on the job training.
I made the biggest mistake in my life. I am using Kitchen Carolina to re-do my kitchen and we are now 2 1/2 month into the project. This company is completely disorganized and can't get anything right. The quality of the work that their contractors are doing is below piss poor. I have pictures to go with that statement. I "supposedly" talked to Rob the owner and he assured me that everything will be alright and the kitchen will be done soon to our complete satisfaction. this was 1 1/2 month ago. Dose anybody know a good layer in Raleigh that would be willing to take on this scammer?
