Does anyone else think that (600+kitchens installed?)or any other of the 2 or 3 positve posting about Kitchen Carolina wheather it's on here or the Complaint Board is Rob Selfor or his wife? PLEASE DO WE SOUND THAT STUPID!!!!! IF SO I GOT SOME PROPERTY I WOULD LIKE TO SELL YA!TO many complaints for my liking. Any one that would contract them or do sub work for them remember, when you get screwed don't say you where not worned. GOOD LUCK TO ALL TRYING TO COLLECT MONEY OR TRYING TO GET THERE KITCHEN FINISHED!!!

Thats not true.. Armstrong is not buying Kitchen Carolina. They aren't backing them whatsoever!!!!!!!!!! Anyone telling that is lying.Armstrong is furious with Rob. Rob has done nothing but give Armstrong a bad name and Armstrong is flooded with complaints about Kitchen Carolina. Armstrong is sick of it.Good luck with your kitchen. If anyone thinks that Rob will reimburse or deduct any costs from your balance, I'd make sure i would get it in writing. Rob doesn't have any money to pay his employees or subcontractors.

i found an ad on graigslist in the raleigh section looking for flooring guys of all kinds to apply for jobs.im sure and have no doubt by this ad that this is the newly formed "AMERICAN KITCHEN " business. Looks like he thinks he can get away with becoming another entity using other names as owners and still profiting from this . i hope that the state of north carolina finally steps up and actually does something to help the consumer about to be scammed by this unethical fraud who keeps extorting funds from hard working people like myself. i mean after all the state attorney is a "consumer protection division" maybe they can start earning there money and do something about this lying thief, instead of doing nothing at all.

Listen everyone I have turned in a complaint to WRAL, 5 on your side and they said they would look at opening a case, so the more people to file a complaint with them, the better chances of getting it on the air so we can shut Kitchen Carolina down and stop them from ripping off any more people.

Look. I know everyone is confused on exactly what is going on and just to clear things up KC has now got a rumor blog right on their site to help explain some of the many rumors that you have heard about them.First I have never in all my days see a company do this...ever.Second is to the dope that thinks they are getting their act together.. Its a bad act, one that I have seen countless times before from companies that have something good and can't keep it straight. If their act is so together how come they still have no credit with any of the tile suppliers the Armstrong guys(COD)They are still hiring new people to do the work and pissing them off each and every day.The only thing they may have learned is how to get around paying their bills and making others do all the running around using their gas and still using unqualified people to do the work. I guess if you hire someone to do the kitchens and through greed they think they can do each and every trade you will maybe get some good work but your are going to get crap too.They have cherry picked who they want working and they are the dumb ones who are willing to take a chance on the lame horse.If they are indeed getting their act together why is the news channel doing a piece on them, why is the BBB not giving them a rating, why are they being reported to the DOJ. Don't really know to many businesses that have all that going for them and have a chance of getting it together, as a matter of fact I have never known a company in my life that has had so much negative feedback.I will be helping the crash and burn of these creeps through channels they could have used for good. I love the internet.

Well I will no longer give Rob the benefit of the doubt. Kitchen Carolina is not going to last more then a few more months. It is all going to crash and burn. I wanted to give them a chance to succeed but all they are doing is now managing a negative cash flow.They have no credit anywhere and are now trying to device ways to get around it..here's how. They are going to use their cabinet installers as the contractor. the cabinet guys are going to be hiring all the other trades and they will be taking care of all the pay outs. Kitchen Carolina will only have to pay 1 guy..the cabinet guy and he in turn will pay all the other subs if he chooses to use them,ie plumbing,electric,tile.Kitchen carolina is selling kitchens again and they are going to do everything they can to sell a whole bunch of them just to get the work on the books. They will not take the money until it's time to do the work. Here is the kicker. Once they have X amount of kitchens sold the business will go up for sale for enough money for Rob and the queen to get out of the serious trouble they are in. All they need is enough contracts signed to hit that certain point needed and they will be out They could be charged with running a ponzi scheme even though it did not start out that way. Once you start using financial institutions to pay for things and then cant deliver and you then have to sell more to try and finish kitchens already paid for and you then don't have the money to start the new ones your in BIG trouble and we are talking hundreds of thousands of dollars here.They cant pay their bills with any of the vendors with the exception of a granite guy who sells crap granite from China and is one of their "new" contractors.Hes a big dummy who will be sorry he is doing this but hey thats the way the cookie crumbles.I am going to do everything I can to make sure this company goes out of business because they have SCREWED many people and have SCREWED so many good workers.They claim to be Christians but they really suck at it.

very interesting what i just fould. in october of 2009 on the website godaddy.com i found that rob selfors bought the domain name kitchentennessee.com. now why would he buy a name like that in october of 2009? he seems to be starting the same scam in tennessee as in north carolina. but heres the big thing, a reverse on the phone number listed on the site is that of nova scotia in canada. is rob selfors hiding his money in canada? possibly he is. this guy has definitly planned all his moves in advance. i realize that we as customers of this scam artist can only do so much,what we need is the other people that can look into this mans finances and his path of scams to step up to the plate and stop sitting on there hands and begin to take this serious.we as consumers are finding out all about this on our own and we don't have half the resources to uncover all the truth that the attorney general has,and where finding all kinds of things.i was told in fact that rob selfors is building a brand new home and from a very reliable person.

Thanks again NIMBY. Yeah I expect nothing from KC. I was being sarcastic about them paying me, I already know they are a bunch of deadbeat crooks, otherwise they would not be in this situation. At this point, who breached the contract is no longer relavent. I just have to get the delivered cabinets installed now. And sort out my own counter-tops. I plan to put a call into Linda Matthews tomorrow 1-7-10. I'm not to stressed about the situation. I am an able bodied person who can get the work done, it is just work I would have rather paid someone else to do. Me, my spirit levels, drill, saws, doors shims, tape measures, 7 in 1 multi function tool & patience are getting to spend a lot of time together.

If you google the number for the American Kitchen Website (336-266-3747) there are a couple of posts there...this is the one that is HILARIOUS! Rob Selfors is a jerk who really has no morals or ethics. We do not have any numbers resembling the said number above. Our business has closed it's doors, but we ARE continuing to do work. Just because we no longer operate from an office does not make us defunct or a ripoff. If you call giving people a luxury kitchen at half the price a ripoff, then you have a different meaning of the word than I do. NO ONE has been left with a half finished kitchen unless they have breached their contract with us (such as not paying us, which is part of the problem leading to us going out of business), in which case we cannot finish until the issue is resolved. Why don't you post pictures of the "hundreds" of "half finished" kitchens on the web.
