I received a call from (352) 352-1234, I answered and the response was "hello, hello, hello" before hanging up

Can't find the # who called me 352-352-1234 in reverse directory & they didn't leave a message--just a long hum on answering system & I'm unable to call them back-call won't go through! Sounds like a hoax of somekind.
Unwanted caller to my cell phone. Sounded suspicious. Wanted to k now if I had smoke detecters. I hung up.
The call I received on my cell phone came right about noon. When I said Hello, and there was a long pause I knew the call was from sort of Automatic Dialer system that calls waits for you to respond and it notifies the caller that someone has answered. The thing that bothered me is that my phone locked up after the call. I think it would be random but I had the same thing happen after another random call. Along with this, I received a couple of junk text messages this week. Obviously my number has made onto some kind of database. Why does someone always have to try to get in our space. Junk snail mail, junk email, junk phone calls, now junk text.
