Phone rang during dinner at 7:08 pm pst on 05/01/07. First rang with the name ESM and then rang again showing INCOMING CALL.
I was just putting my child down for a nap and I heard the phone ring. When I checked my ID it had the above stated number and said "EMS". I blocked my number and attempted to call back and only get dead-air. My number is new, but I'm on the Do Not Call List since Jan. 26, 2007, so they shouldn't be calling me. Plus, I pay extra money to my phone service to keep my number private, so I don't know who they are calling. I will be reporting them and if they continue to call I will get a Court Order Restraining Order, bc I don't play their games. My house is private and nobody is supposed to have my contact info!
7:38pm PST, called. Did not answer. Called again. No msg left. I am an unpublished number, too.
They are calling my cell phone. I do not answer calls on my cell phone that I do not know. They let it ring twice, hung up, and called right back.
This is obnoxious! I have received two calls from this number in the past two days, both at the same time. It came up both as a Palatka, FL and Jacksonville, FL number, so I actually contacted an old sorority sister of mine through Facebook asking if she had been trying to contact me. She said no. I googled the number, and it brought me right to this webpage! How do I report this, and get on the Do Not Call list??
As an addendum....I looked up the Evergreen website. What I don't understand is, I'm living in Ohio, get my cable and internet through Armstrong (which is NOT one of the companies that they deal with!!). I don't subscribe to those any of those services...so how do they have my number?? Anyways, I put myself on the Do Not Call list. Hopefully that will put an end to it...
Have missed two calls from this phone number. An internet search indicates it may be a scam. I do not know anyone from this area code and do not want to receive any more calls.
Just received their call but didn't answer. I googled the number and was directed here. I will file a complaint as well.
