I live in Canada and just received a call from 1-402-491-2800 on a Saturday afternoon. I refused to answer it and they never left a message
I hate this company. They will call every day for weeks at a time. Finally, I pick up the phone and scream into it. It will stop for a few weeks and then start up again.
I got a call from this number saying that it was Citibank and that there was a lot of static on the line. I didn't hear any static on my end. Then they said that they would hang up and call me back. They never did. It obviously wasn't that important then!
Got a call, was away from the phone, no voicemail...was surprised to see all this when I Googled the number. Wonderful.
My wife answered the call at 4:23pm EST today and the person on the phone asked for me(he knows my name!!) He asked for my available timings and hangup. Called ID said CONVERGYS CORPO and the number is 402-491-2800.
I am getting soooo tired of companies NOT obeying the DNC registry. And the government actually does nothing about it. I've filed complaint, after complaint regarding companies that do this. I've yet to get any satisfaction. This is just the latest is a series of calls from a company ... who of course uses a less that informative caller ID ... who is stealing my time.

This Is NOT Wells Fargo! It does seem legit, but it is NOT. I called Wells Fargo & they said no one called me. ALWAYS call the # on the back of your credit card no matter what company it is.
