"402-491-2800" is actually a call originating from a HUGE call center, so I'd imagine they could be calling from (or "on behalf of") any number of organizations, one of which I know is a very large DEBT COLLECTION agency (see below)The following is from "The Economist":Earlier this year, Convergys, the world's biggest call-center operator, spent $68 million to buy Encore Receivable Management, a Kansas-based debt collector.

So, this is "convergence marketing services" and supposedly you can leave a message to be taken off their phone list. Yet, it says at the end of the message it says the voice mail has " no room for more messages "and the "line is busy"..... This is crazy!!! They call my # all times of the day, including LATE evening and they've called every friggin day of the week!!!!! Check out their website to get their contact info to yell at the [***]!!!!!!

Got a call about 7:30 p.m. in California. Left no message, and as I didn't recognize the number or name on my caller ID, I didn't answer. I am on the DNC list. This is the first time they have called me - Friday the 13th of March.

I got a called from this number they didn't leave a message. I don't understant why they are calling me.

Got a call this afternoon from this number. Did not leave a message. Since its a supposed "survey" according to many reports here, we'll never answer it. In this day and age how stupid would we have to be to answer a bunch of personal questions to total strangers over the phone. In fact, who wants them calling at all, we're on the federal and state DNC lists.

I have been getting calls from this number as well.Convergys Corporation is a call center company that does contract work for many large corporations like Amex and Sprint and many, many more.I refuse to answer, and receive no messages. On another site, someone said they were calling about a postal survey....makes no sense to me...

FIRST THING I DO IS PUT A MESSAGE ON MY ANSWERING MACHINE WHICH ANSWERS AFTER SIX RINGS. MY ANSWERING MESSAGE IS SLO AND ABOUT 30 SECONDS IN LENGTH.I START THE MESSAGE WITH THAT FAMOUS TONE WHICH IS A BOING PROCEEDING THE MESSAGE AND THEIR COMPUTERS THINK THEY HAVE DISCONNECTED NUMBER. I ALSO HAVE ANNOUNCING CALLER I.D. PHILIPS SJA9191/17 AN ANNOUNCING CALLER I.D. I ALSO HAVE ABOUT FIVE MAGIC JACK NUMBERS WHICH I THEN USE TO CALL THEM BACK SEVERAL TIMES. I BUST THEM GOOD. SOMETIMES I DO ANSWER THEIR CALLS AND I SAY ONE MINUTE PLEASE, AND AFTER ABOUT 20 SECONDS I SAY HELLO AND THEY SAY IS THIS "RAYMOND SUCHANDSUCH" AND I SAY YES AND TALK TO THEM FOR ABOUT 45 SECONDS AND THEN ASK "WHO ARE YOU CALLING?" AND THEY SAY AND I SAY SORRY WRONG NUMBER. I ALSO CALL THEIR UPPER MANAGEMENT LATE AT NIGHT AND AT HOME. WHITE PAGES/GOOGLE/FINANCIAL REPORTS ETC. I ALSO CALL THEIR OTHER BUSINESS TELEPHONE NUMBERS AND WHEN I GO TO A STORE I ALSO USE THEIR FREE PAY TELEPHONES AND CALL THEIR TOLL FREE NUMBERS. EVERYONE SHOULD DO THIS. MANY TIMES I DO SPEAK AND SAY STOP HARASSING PHONE CALLS TO PEOPLE ON THE DO NOT CALL LIST ETC.
