got a call didnt answer didnt want to thot I was on the do not call list too have to look into this some more

called 10/20/08 at 815pm, convergys corp., no message, i don't answer calls from numbers i don't know, or after 8, as we have a NEWBORN CHILD who is sleeping, but a-holes who use the phone for telemarketing or other means to pry money or useless info from you for their own corporate gain don't seem to think or care that anyone int he world has anything better to do than talk to them after 5 pm, as if im just waiting on them to call because i'm so freakin' lonely and can't wait for the outside world to invade my home w/ the shrill ring of the telly. kiss my butt convergys corp., or better, give me all your employees home numbers and i'll forward on the skype guys who call from 000-012-3456. dag.

The name of the company is Convergys. They are not telemarketing. You were receiving a market research call to do a survey. If you received the call on your cell phone, you can file a complaint with the FCC, as companies are banned from using predictive dialers to call cell phones. The Do Not Call list doesn't apply, as it is not a telemarketing company. If you want to call and complain to someone in the company, you can call the CEO, Dave Dougherty, or you can call the two people in charge of market research (Mike Cholak and Robin Zentmeyer). If you really want to discourage these calls, you should call the clients that they are doing surveys for to let them know how much you don't appreciate the persistent phone calls. This company figures that you are all too lazy and stupid to do anything about these calls. Make your complaints known.

I have had this number call and last week I had someone call 4 time to get me to verify that so and so's name was correct and lived here. The second time they called He told me in very thick accent Folkshoe!!!, when I refused to give them the answer. The third time they called I complained and the 4th time they called .. I told them "She doesn't live here anymore .. she got married, Would you like her new name and address? So I patiently spelled out I M A Crook .. He repeated it to me and I said that is correct then I gave them the number for the local jail ... Haven't heard from them since!!! (The jail number is a recording so no one was inconvinunced.)

Nancy - YOU ROCK! Totally 100% with you on all you wrote! These idiots keep bothering me too and even though my kids are older its still a major pain in the body part that if they ever are on the phone when I pick up I'm going to tell them to kiss!
