I didn't get a call, I got three charges on my credit card. That phone number was listed and it said paypal. I got charged over $2000. Luckily my credit card company has $0 responsibility for it's customers on fraud charges. I called the 402-935-7733 and it said it was pay pal and asked me information. Then it told me to call my credit card company to dispute the charges

This is NOT paypal!!! They have an 877 area code....I do hope no one fell for this!!!

No one disputes that it's a paypal number, but that has no bearing on whether it's fraudulent or not. We have 3 charges against our paypal account that listed that phone number in the transaction description. If Paypal was legitimately charging customers for something, they would not be using their own fraud prevention line. That just doesn't make sense.

I got this charge for $39.00 on my charge card that I use for pay-pal I never authorized this charge. What a rip-off.
