Because they are usually outbound only call centers. You can't make incoming calls to them because their resources and system are set up to make calls. Leaving you a voicemail would be pointless.
bottom lie. i did not give you my #, DO NOT CALL! you were not invited. narrow minded
I am on the do not call list and have been on it for years. Gallup (ID that shows up) called 6/4. My number is unlisted along with being on the DNC registry.
They called me today on my cell phone. I thought it was kind of weird that a telemarketer would be calling on a Sunday. As some of the other people have posted, they did not leave a message. I did a Google search and found out what I suspected all along.
Wait a few years. With age comes infirmity. Medical issues which you may not fully understand now may one day become your own. At that point I can promise that you shall remember the EXACT incidences where you poked fun of or berated a person whose body just doesn't work as it did at an earlier age. Illness and disability are not as simple concepts as you seem to view them. Here's hoping that you never suffer any ailment that limits your mobility or cognition.
I called 1-402-952-4444 from a block phone and got a recorded message that the call was from a Gallup poll interviewer wanting to ask me about taking a survey. It said I could not contact the caller directly but they would be calling me back and this message was just to give information of why the number appeared in my caller ID. It gave a website www.gallup.com to find out more about their organization. I will just contined to ignore their calls.
got called in the evening as well. didn't want to risk calling it back since i have no idea who they are. fyi, if it really is gallup, then they are a legit organization - the most known and respected survey people (everyone uses them from corporate to government). it makes sense since they seem to be calling in the evening, but i still won't answer numbers i am not familiar with. i also got this on my cell phone. only once. am hoping i don't get repeats.
