Unacceptable that they are calling on my cell phone

I receive calls at least twice a day mostly late at night. I have had enough. I am not interested in anything that they might have to say, nor will I do any kind of survey. Stop calling or we will shut you down.

Dont call after hours! Some of us have sleeping children or get up early!

It's Gallop calling to ask your opinion about some issue. If you don't want them calling, just answer the phone and be polite and ask them to take your number off their call list.Otherwise, answer the questions (they won't ask for any personal information), and show up in the national poll!

This is a company that PNC Bank uses to see if their customers received good service. PNC gives them your number and the name on your account.

I appreciate all the input and all the quotes of the law. But legal, rational or not, I don't think its ethical to keep calling an elderly person, confusing them, and then continuing to call them after they have told the caller "no" multiple times. It's not fair to prey on elderly people and, no, they shouldn't have to change their number or stop answering their phone. The first "no" should be respected and the number removed from their list. Oh, and yes, you can tell when you are talking to an elderly person.

Thanks for this, I appreciate the insight. If I don't wish to participate how can I have my number removed from the Gallop call list? I've politely declined to participate in the poll three times this week yet the calls keep coming.

I agree! I started to cancel my home phone that I have had for years with the same number and just use my cell, but low and behold they have started call my cell. What can anyone do,but screen and not answer the those type calls. Screening get tiring too.
