Thank you..this makes sense. I just got a call from this number...no message. i do not answer unidentified calls. Too many scams out there these days.
They found loop holes in the Do Not Call law and started playing around with it or if Crap Service called you, they don't care about any law. They won' t care until they get into trouble.
Just get a cordless phone and keep it next to you so you don't have to suffer horrible pain to answer it. That is the dumbest thing I've ever heard to be honest.
If you're on the 'Do Not Call' list, that only applies to people who are trying to sell you something. It's actually a surveying call.
They called and the caller ID said they were Gallup Poll. However they were looking for someone specific. It was obvious they were a bill collector looking fore someone. When I questioned this the caller got defensive and said they were the Gallup Poll but the company looking for the person contracts with them?????. I told them the person they are looking for doesnt live here and to remove my number. The reply is we just call the numbers they give us and cant remove the number.
That's as lunatic as saying "if you don't want strangers walking in and out of your house don't have a door." I have a telephone for my own communication in and out of my home, not for the intrusion of strangers.
FYI- I do not answer any calls if I do not know the #. If it is important, they will leave a voicemail. I also add any company and buisness I know to the contact list plus any no. they use. If you do this they eventually stop calling. Also if you have a smart phone you can turn on your blocking mode. I set mine for 8 pm to 8 am. Turn it on when I go to bed and off after I get up. Adding a no. to blocking list on your phone just makes it go straight to voice and you do not hear the call coming in then your wasting time checking your voicemail. Try it !

Called me but I didn't hear the phone, no message left
just got a call from 888-431-7820. Told me I was breach of contract. Very hard to understand the lady. I dont have a contract with anyone that I know of. When I look to see the number call it tells me Claim Services.
