Called by this number at 10:15 in Edmonton, Sept. 28, 2009.The message I got did not make any sense: "Congratulations you have won x dollars. Press 1." I speculate that there is a fee for pressing 1 or perhaps further calls will ensue. Did not care to find out.I think I figured it out. The only gap in my defense was looking for work using an online resume-posting service. Unfortunately, I may have accidentally used a service that sold my information. Sites to be wary of posting information on that I have encountered: monster.caworkopolis.comworking.comjobshop.comI don't recall if I used others, but some or all of these are the culprits.
Just got this call. Did not answer, as do not know the 403 area code. No message left. Am on the do not call list.
Call from 403-201-9988 in Vancouver on 2009/08/27 did not leave message, and a week ago same number a guy left a message saying that they have the wrong address for my invoices and someone else receive my mail, and I just have to call back rogers....pathetic lies I guess at Rogers they are desperate for business can't wait to change supplier, not sure if any have business ethics.
Got the 2600 travel dollar scam call on my cell and at work...number is 778-785-4596...also 402-982-0426 Bad news! Hate these things-
I think this number is targeting Vancouver clients or something...I've also been getting random calls from (1-800-395-8813) a company that Rogers has hired I think called Gemma Communications... they've called me for over a week, at least 3 times a day and that is because I won't answer it... it's really starting to get annoying, and then I recv'd this call today from this number, which is out of Alberta cause it's 403 number...I'm going to call Rogers and complain. This seems to be getting ridiculous. Has anyone else gotten this 1-800 # as well?
