I have never subscribed to Telus phone service, however their internet counts.. Sigh.. So if you have this service then they have no actually broken the law b/c they call it "customer care" not recruiting a new customer. I still call it crap but whatever. If this is the case for u also, the 800 # is fast, efficient and actually pretty friendly!
I asked to be removed form this list yesterday and she said yes but tell me why. I said I was not interested in changing my services from shaw and hung up. They called me again today when I wasn't home!!!!
Just call 310-2255 without the area code. Ask that they cease & desist calling and they will stop within 24 hours.
I have been receiving receiving calls from Telus 403-310-2255 more than once everyday and even at night. I have told the persons that call that I am not interested in their service at all and am comfortable with the service provider I subscribed with before. If this is a market strategy that Telus is using to try and attract prospective customers, all they are doing is to impose themselves on people like me, who don't want to be pressured to buy a product when I can make my own informed choices. Telus you will not get me and all my circle of friends as your prospective customers because you are trying to FORCE people to buy your products which we don't even want. Take your business elsewhere and leave us alone. Don't impose yourselves on people, as a matter of fact your marketing strategy scares people. If your continue calling my home private telephone number, I will take it up against you as harassment.
got a call for the first time today, asked for the homeowner and i wasnt here so they hung up. anticipating moer calls according to the other reports above anyway.
Recieved a call from 403-310-2255 today , said telus on callerid , first a long pause, then a person asks for _____ ______ ( deceased relative ). I asked if this was telus , the guy hung up. A few minutes later i get a call from another 403 area code number for some refinance scam, then a few minutes later another 403 area code telemarketting scam. SO i call up telus operator. First they said it wasn't them , then they said it was them, then she said she would transfer me to someone who could help, long pause , buzz click , i had been hung up on. I call back , explain the situation all over she tells me its not telus it's just "fraudsters it happens all the time" so i ask if theres anything they will do about it , she gets a supervisor on the line who says she will transfer me to someone who can help. I am then transferred to an automated system that asks questions that have nothing to do with my problem , after going through a series of menues i finally reach " telus customer support" , both operators barely speak english and they sound as if they are in a synthetic voice mixer, needless to say nothing got solved. Guess what telus you just lost a customer.Someone needs to do something about this crud, telus doesnt seem to care people are impersonating them, they cant even block themselves from calling me. I dont pay to be harrased. It isn't coincidence that minutes after TELUS calls me i recieve several other bogus telemarketting scam calls.
