ive been receiving calls from this # also.they usually hang up when i lift/answer the receiver and sometimes i hear voices in the background..... i say hello a few times and then the line goes click!strange!the strangest part is if i try to redial this number its states it is long distance number and i must put a 1 before the # when dailing it.then when i put the # 1 in front of the number im dailing back and dial it it states this is not a long didtance # and disconnects!so strange.im glad i found this site to confirm this is a telus #...but confirming the area code would double confirm this!......telus should phone with a name stating telus....get with it telus!with all the tech you have!you can do better!
Every time I call Telus I get a person who can clearly speak English too. I asked one time and she said she was from Ontario. Another time one was from Vancouver. I'm getting this number calling, I think, because he just had a tech come to the house.I love Telus, they always give us a discount. Shaw has great promos but after the promo, they could care less about giving you a better deal.

Calgary Herald, Sep. 7, 2011, writer Kim Guttormson--Confirms that Shaw does indeed have a call centre in India, but it is not used for incoming calls. In other words, it is used for telemarketing purposes only. But to the person or persons insisting that Shaw has not outsourced any call centre jobs to India, you are wrong and should do a quick fact check before ranting. But so what, let's worry more about developing higher end jobs here in Canada. And also, complaining about outsourcing is going to sound a lot more like prejudice and racism as the world becomes more like one big village. Let's be better than the generations past.

Calls once or twice per week with voice msg "Brandon from CTS" call me back. WTF is CTS? No context, no real msg.
