I just switched from Shaw to Telus, I simply wanted to have my services moved and when I called Shaw, I had to wade through a labrynth of "if you want this then press this number" during the process I was disconnected 4 times and had to start the process from the beginning each time, once I finally got through and got to the point where I was setting up the appointment I was once again disconnected. Unfortunately up until this point Telus has not been much better, I asked for an evening appointment to have my services connected and had to wait almost a whole month then on the day of the appointment I am in a meeting and receive a call on my cell from the technician who is sitting outside my apartment at 8 am. What does one have to do to get your money's worth and/or acceptable service.
It is definitely Telus. I didn't answer and when I called back there is a maze of automated responses and answers you need to give before speaking to a live person. I'm using their call back feature as the queue is over 45min long. Haha now they'll be calling me again so I can ask to be removed from their list... Hopefully it would put an end to the 3 times a day every day!
From researching this number I have found it is a telemarketer from Telus. Some male who wanted to speak to the homeowner and then when was told this number was private for a reason, asked to speak to someone else in the home. The only thing I have from telus is a cell phone. I have changed my land line phone carrier to Shaw and have changed my number that I was using which was the same as my telus number had been. My new number from Shaw is private, unlisted. How does Telus get this number? When I had the telus land phone number that number was put on the do not call list, yet Telus telemarketers continued to call.. Thats how I got sucked into a cell phone from them. What are they above the law?
if you have any service with a company they can call and harass you because you do business with them. it's the rules you should know this. do this thing called not answer your phone on #'s you don't recognize. if its an emergency they will leave a message. if its a casual call they are not allowed to leave a message. its against the law.
We've had excellent service from Shaw. We've been with them over 15 years. When you call for service, leave your name and phone # and they get back to you within 1/2 hour. Never had a problem. Very knowledgeable and always have solutions to our problems! We would never switch!
