We keep getting all sorts of telemarketers and this 319 2255 number...we started turning on the fax machine when they call..after 3 or 4 times they don't call our number anymore..might be worth a try.
i was just called by this number about 3 min ago.It showed up as an unknown name so i answered i asked who was speaking no one answered. As i listened i could here rustling as i to cover the part he/she speaks in to. I'm only 13 so i after i heard the person hang up i searched the number and found out this has happened a lot so i wanted to share what i know.
When you get a call from a telemarketer, ask them to hang on. Put the phone down and walk away and wait. Their dime. LOL They will eventually hang up.
I just switched to Telus Optik TV. They have been very easy to deal with. No long waits, very polite, and helpful. We did have a problem with the PVR box and Telus sent someone over in two days to replace it. The techs are also very polite and efficient. Explaining what they are doing as they go. Never getting annoyed with any questions I might have. They also followed up the next day and gave me 2 free movie rentals to make up for the PVR problem. I did sign up for 3 years, so, they have me 'locked in', and still, I'm getting excellent service. I don't care where the call ends up as long as they are polite and helpful. I've also been with Telus mobility for 12 years and internet for almost 5 years and they have been very easy to deal with, too.I was with Shaw TV for a decade. Their customer service was terrible. Long waits on the phone, sometimes rude service. When I let them know (around Christmas) that I was thinking of switching to Telus and did they have any offers? They first tried to scare me off by letting me know I had to sign on for 3 years to get that deal. Then the offer they gave me was going to be way more that what I was already paying. When I called to cancel, after a long wait to talk to someone, the guy tried to scare me with the 3 yr thing again. I stated firmly, but, not rudely that I was fine with it. He got very annoyed, cut me off, and told me to hold, for almost an hour!!! A woman came on after that and again the 3 yr talk came up. I was frustrated by this time and said I didn't want to hear the script in front of her, I just wanted to end my service. Then apologised for my rudeness, but, jeez! To top it all off...I have to pay $120 bucks just to cancel! Due to their "next billing cycle" clause in the contract. Shaw sucks! >:(
Received call from 1-403-310-2255. Contacted Telus privacy at 1-800-567-0000 and had my number removed.It should be noted I am NOT a Telus customer. This was telemarketing, nothing else.
I have received numerous calls today on my CELL phone...erg from this number, and have read all of your comments.I have tried to call them back --because I won't answer their call on my cell...but it is a wrong number..?? crazy [***]...as I had asked them about 3 months ago to take me off the call list...it was fine until now...
I can echo Mr Giggles experience above, call the 1-800-567-0000, I got Cheryl. Tell them you want your phone # removed from their telus marketing dialer. Easy. Thanks internet!
