Twice this number has called me in two days here in Calgary and both times it went "you have been chosen by Expedia canada as a prize winner". Scam.

Got a call from this number yesterday on my cell, 3:38pm. I usually don't pick up calls from unknown sources. I checked 411.ca but no such number. Last night, my wife told me she had a missed call and she called back but the number she dialed was not assigned. She just hit 'call'. When I asked where it came from, she told me the number and I checked my cell, twas the same number. Today I googled the number and voila! there are plenty of us on the same boat.I hope these crooks get what they deserve.

This number called me last night on my Ontario cell. I didn't answer. Thanks for letting us know about the prize message that came up. If I had heard I was a "valued Bell customer" I probably would have had a good giggle, being a Fido cell customer and not a single Bell service in my home.

This number has called me more than once... I have never picked up. Its a Calgary number (which is where i am from) and im also a Bell customer.

It's a phishing scam. I played along and they started asking to 'verify' my cc information. When I asked for the person's name and a return number, they hung up. They claimed to be from Bell, and considering how Bell practices very dirty scam type tactics (I have friends who work for Bell and can validate my statement) and underhanding 'marketing' tactics like racial profiling (yes, they use algorithms on your first and last name and stores your information in a series of databases based on your race), I would not be surprised at all to find it is in fact Bell that is behind it. This is how they target certain racial minorities for some types of marketing and also how they 'sell' phones and plans (more like trick people into them).The police is a little too stupid to know how to handle this kind of fraud so you will need to use your wits. Be smart, no return number or name, do not provide any information.

Called "Press 1" to get 2,000 expedia travel dollars.... I did nothing and it was silent, then hung up

They called me 2 days ago 4 times, and today 2 more times. I do not answer to numbers I don't know, I guess if it were important they would have left a voicemail. I just want them to leave me alone!

Got a call from this number at 13:00 sharp this afternoon. It said I was chosen as a "preferred Rogers customer", and to press one for a prize. AB area code, but I live in BC, and my provider isn't Rogers.
