A partial message from this number was left on my home phone. I was away, but the message said something about rewards. F.Y.I to those who receive any call asking you to press one to accept any kind of rewards or prize, special offer etc DO NOT PRESS to accept. The message says one thing but what it is or could be is you accepting long distance charges for someone In Another country to make long distance calls using your number. So be carefull and remember if it sounds too good to be true it usually is a scam.
Not one person pressed 1 today.I still have 100,000 air miles to give away. It's a clearing house and I have to dispose of the air miles to cell users. All the cell companies kick in to support the clearance. If you press 1 the air miles will appear on your next AirMiles statement, if you have registered your cell number with AirMiles. You have to press 1 to kick into the holding company's intranet. Then the award can be disbursed. It's all very simple. Too many people have associated this give-away with other phone scams. Just like this webpage - 800notes. WTF? Read my message again. All of it! Then think about it. If you answer your phone and press 1 you deserve the award! It's that simple people!

Got a call from this at 9:16am this morning. Alberta code, I'm in BC. Didn't recognize it, didn't answer. Googled it and thanks for the info on this site! I'll add it to my list of spam numbers.
I got a call but it only rang for a minute then died - with the new law I have no intention of picking up when I do not know who it is and even if I did I could always call them back - what happened to the carriers catching these B S calls??
Same call in Vancouver from Airmiles saying "you've won the grand prize of 100,000 miles, press "1" now to accept your prize" and it hung up after couple seconds...

Called and asked me to return call about a musical instrument that must be returned immediately. Got my name wrong as well. Scammers.

Got my name wrong, no where near close to the person they're trying to scam/contact. Call came from North Texas, left no company name, nothing. Shady asf, 888 area code is commonly used by scammers so this may not be legit.

Sent an email trying to encourage people to call Bank of America at this number. As phishing attempt go, this one was better than most. I can smell these things a mile away.
