ADAD's are borderline fraudulent at best. Everyone with a brain knows this. They are used by polling companies (like we need those) and by local law enforcement agencies providing information about local break-ins, etc. Bottom line is that we should not have to answer our phone(s) for anyone, be it cops, political parties, grnadmothers, good guys or bad. Caller ID displays don't always tell the truth. I say ban all ADAD's and shoot all scam artists!
I live in Toronto and this is the second time I've gotten a call from this number. The first time was a few days ago and now today. SCAM!
I got a call, mid-afternoon from this number on my cellular. My number is known by only a few people, and used mostly for texting. Didn't answer it; rejected the call.
received call from this number today saying that as a valuable airmiles customer I won a bonus 1000 airmiles and to accept press 1. big problem...I am not an airmiles member!!!!!!!!
I justed booked a Hotel with Hotwire and it showed up as Expedia on the bill and gave my number in the contact registration. I'm guessing the two or related somehow. Did not pick up

Called and asked me to return call about a musical instrument that must be returned immediately. Got my name wrong as well. Scammers.
